Since you are a Ben shipper I don't need to explain the reasons why I ship Ben and devi. So I'll do Paxton instead...despite his status in school as a popular kid he wasn't bratty towards her, used her as a body count nor demean her in any way (even when devi is a geek), which we see often with such characters. You could say i was quite surprised. But instead he made it clear he liked spending time with her. A few notable words he said that made him a good contestant in my mind was " You are crazy, but in a good way" , "I think you come out looking cool everytime". The way he looked back after he dropped her home that night. He literally went all the way to her home just to apologise. The way she started walking because of him. The way he comes back even when he is mad at her. The way he uplifted her saying she looks good in the traditional wear when she looked anxious that people are gonna see it. Aka just giving her the comfort she needs. The way he listens. The way he kissed her. The way he jumped in to help her from the wild coyote, when everyone else just stood there. The way he never told anyone that they didn't sleep together cause that would make her look like an attention seeker. He has feelings for her but didn't want to admit it until he realised she may walk out of his life. I mean he has his demons and so does Ben, and this season there weren't enough episodes to judge either of them well. So I ship both UNTIL one makes me question my decision in the next season. PS - There better be another season.

I sensed the chemistry between them in their literal first scene together. They BETTER be endgame than Paxton/Devi or I am RIOTING. Come on, Ben has always been there for her since the beginning and did SO MUCH for her. Paxton wasn't even willing to think about Devi until his sister called him out on his BS attitude of thinking of her as "the nerd who can ruin his rep". He broke up her relationship with her family and even got offended by her mom calling him stupid during a clear emotional moment and wouldn't let it go. When Devi was emotional and made her famous "Nazi" comment to Ben, who's Jewish, he blew it off because he knew she was just lashing out from other issues. And he SAVED her broken friendships/relationships when he didn't have to, took her in when she needed a place to crash, got her to spread her dad's ashes (despite never driving before on the freeway) and stayed just to make sure it all worked out. And plus... their chemistry is a huge burning bonfire compared to the candle flicker of her with Paxton.

Yea but people might say Ben and her don't have chemistry but if you think about it they actually well enjoyed each other company as in rivalry. And Ben brought together her friendship. And he couldn't have saved Devi from the party cause at that time he hade a girlfriend . When Davi kissed Ben she felt comfortable enough to touch his chest while she didn't feel comfortable touching Paxton. Also people feel like Ben cheated but in ep 10 he didn't have a pic of his girlfriend anymore he only had one of himself before the kiss. He also seem angry at Paxton when he thought he had hurt Devi. The last part is that Ben has seen the worst and the best of Devi while Paxton has only seen the side Devi wants him to see which is how perfect she is. Also Devi thinks that Paxton is a God a perfect person while again she has seen the good and the bad of Ben. If this ain't chemistry I don't know what is.
