Yeh he even said he doesn’t deserve a rematch because he lost I 5 seconds. Very humble guy considering ufc set him up to fail to prove their descision not to sign him in his prime right. Ben’s great! And true fight fans appreciate how tremendous a competitor he is and how dominant he was. I enjoy Ariel’s interviews but parts of this made me laugh. The way Ariel was bringing up “doesn’t it bother you that…” over and over again reminded me of an episode of Seinfeld where George kept asking this old man he was having lunch with if he thinks about death.. and how the average lifespan is 72 😂

Ariel says all the time that he doesn’t like to ask fighters to come on his show after a ko loss and yet he asks every fighter to come on his show after a ko loss and then has to explain to them and everyone else that he doesn’t like to ask people to come on his show after a ko loss lol

His advice is legit. Don't be afraid of failure, go try to talk to a bunch of different girls, don't invest too much of your emotion into any of it, just talk to some, you can tell if one likes you by how interested they are in talking to you. However if you never talk to anyone because you are too scared, you will never even find any of these ones that will like you. Heck I was worse than Askren when he was a teen, I literally was so low in self belief I had girls literally coming up to me trying to talk to me and I still convinced myself that no one liked me, because when I was young I inherited my mother's weird victim complex, like a martyr complex thing, it wasn't until I left home that I became more normal and came to my senses. Yeah, a lot of people I think have a bad mentality because of bad influence, but you need to stop being influenced and reset your brain kind of, then just go and try to talk to people in the world, you will find a lot of decent people who are compatible with you, whether it be friends or romance etc.

Great interview. Ben was the most exciting ground fighter I have seen till this day. The way he moved was so weird and dominant. He never stalled or fkd around. I was always captivated by his fights. Casuals believed he was boring because of the comment section. Instead of actually seeing his fights. I'd like the haters to actually tell me which fight did he stall in or was boring?
