I love how involved and actually “in the moment” with these guys are, weather they’re Tour pros or beginners… you’re giving him time and not making him feel bad, encouraging him and actually paying attention to his faults and his positives! That’s why you’re the man brutha! I love when you told him to “shake my hand” when releasing the driver, I’m going to be using that for sure when I’m setting up or practicing.

Fantastic video, Trottie! Watching a lesson like this with what I imagine is a high-handicap player (no offense to him, we all start there) is so beneficial for so many people.

The thing I love about these videos is I can take almost every single point he's saying and apply it to my own swing and see instant results learning something every time

Club fittings over here in the UK are different , that to me was a full coaching session such an amazing watch
@itsnotberto2 жыл бұрын
Treated myself to a club fitting for breaking 80 within my first 2 years of playing and wound up with P 790s (fitting was today). Dispersion was incredibly tight and I was coasting at 115 ball speed on a 7 iron with a pretty smoothed swing. First taylormade clubs to be added to the bag, and hopefully not the last!

That’s amazing! I find vids like this more relatable and I’m jotting down all the tips shared. Can’t wait to try it on the range after work today..

Imo being able to get a solid result after a high handicapper vs a tour player is more impressive to me. Nice work Trottie!

Trottie what do you think of flatter lie angles for players? I read it promoted a flatter more pivot based swing and prevents missed to the right.
@trottiegolf2 жыл бұрын
I'd say promotes a right miss. I like it if your move requires it

Is there a point where AOA is too much? I usually get between 7-10 AOA on my Driver, path +/- 0.5 playing stealth 9 turned down to 7 (autoflex 505x). But im still getting super high spin 3-4k and peak high sometimes over 130. Can't figure out whats going on
@pacypacman2 жыл бұрын
whats your spinloft? have you checked where on the face u hit the balls?
@joseph_n2 жыл бұрын
@@pacypacman I have a gc3 so can't get spin loft unfortunately. I'm assuming I am delivering alot of loft. I can sometimes launch at 20* for launch angle on the high end.
@pacypacman2 жыл бұрын
@@joseph_n probably flipping your hands to much and adds a lot of loft, you should probably launch somewhere around 12-13 degree

If you have an AOA of 7 plus I would think there is no way the spin is that high.

Massive 👍 for not pushing upright lie angle. Don’t fit a club to a poor swing, fit your swing to a proper club
