Looks like a good one, Ben....should be a fun build and it will hopefully give you ample opportunity for scratch-building in the nose area so will be checking in to see what you decide to do. See you soon.

Thank you! I really am interested in this kit and I'm curious how it will all go together. If it builds well, I'd like to get another one and make the gun version. The Cougar is such a nice looking plane and I think it will be a great addition to the display case.

Great choice for this GB Ben. Kit looks really good, has a bunch of parts. You should be busy for a while. Thanks for sharing my friend, take care and keep up the good work.

Thank you! Yes, this kit does have a lot of parts, so we will have to see how it all goes together. I have always loved the Cougar, so I finally get to build one. I think this kit is OOP but I would love to grab another one and try the gun version.

It sure looks a great kit in the box and the Photo recon version has a very interesting nose, full of cameras.. :) I have never built a Kitty Hawk kit, but I have heard some interesting stories. One day I'm sure I'll get round to trying one. Thanks again for taking part in the Group Build, I have noted you down with my hi-tech notebook and pen and am very much looking forward to seeing the progress.. :) As for those extra pylons, maybe they are for flash pods and the like.. just thinking, as the SF-37 and AJSF-37 Viggens used to have a nose full of cameras, but carried extra flash pods and night photography pods under the wings, as well as a couple of sidewinders for self protection.. maybe the Cougar did the same, I would not know.. :)

Thank you, Rob! I have only built one other Kitty Hawk kit and it was interesting. Really nice detail, but a few fit issues. This is another one of my favorite Cold War jets, so I am just happy to give one a try. That is an interesting idea about the flash pods. I thought that too, but I haven't done enough research to know either way. Most of the references show just the inner pylons with full tanks, but I have only just started to scratch the surface of the cougar. Still lots more to learn!

Thank you! I am looking forward to cracking into this build. There are so many different options, I'll need my references close at hand. It should be fun though.

That is a really nice choice for the Reccy group build. That F9F should build up into a very nice Navy bird. I will be starting a Mig-25 RBF for that group build.

Thank you! I can't wait to give this one a try. Oooo a Mig-25 RBF will be a nice addition. I have the ICM Mig-25 PD and I love their looks. Haven't built it yet, but they are really neat looking airplanes. Thanks for watching!

Another Kitty Hawk huh hahaha. This one looks really good though and tons of part. I can't wait to see this one Ben.

Thanks, Joe! Yeah another Kitty Hawk and honestly, I am curious how this will build up. The Fury wasn't too bad, (at least it was better than the Su-15), but I am hopeful that in a few weeks, I'll have a Cougar in the case. I'll be cracking into this one soon and will get to work on that cockpit.

I looked to the Cougar but the parts put me off after seeing the kit good luck.

Thanks, Steven! Yeah, I love the Cougar, but who knows how this will go. It's Kitty Hawk, so I think it could go either way.
