You know...I need to say something to the ungrateful jealous population out there. This visit was a surprise to all involved. This visit was unannounced to these folks. I met him at work, through a family member of his. He was there to play for sick and or dying young patients. My son had just started getting into BB because of a band he started playing in. Ben was grateful enough to offer to go to the house a pay a short visit to these kids on a school night while they were having dinner. Ben wanted it to be a surprise to them. He is a super sweet, outgoing individual that to be a man of his popularity and stature. He was playing that guitar, because it was the one he picked out of about 10 we have. It had thicker strings and was easier to downtune for his songs. He only spent about 15 minutes with these impressionable young men. They will be forever grateful for this visit. I am happy they got to see someone of that caliber, that was down to earth, not stuck up, and willing to spend a few minutes with a bunch of nobodys. Maybe those with negative comments should learn a lesson from someone they hold so dear. Glad Benjamin Burnley was not like you.

Don't pay the slightest attention to those hateful, insensitive and frustrated people. They truly need to learn a couple of lessons from Ben. I truly enjoyed your video and I'm grateful for your upload, as it showed that Ben is the really down to earth and kind guy I always thought he was since I started listening to his band. He strikes me as a guy who truly loves working hard to make great music and loves his fans. A real honest guy and musician. There are not many like him around, his way of doing things is inspiring. Thanks again for your vid, and lucky you for having the chance to meet him!

I’d kick his butt on some cod 🤣 I mean I’ve played with FaZe members back in MW2/BO2 days. They were no where near as famous as Ben here... and some how those dudes were always stuck up ass holes. Sooooo idk I’m proud to have found this band years ago. Benjamin has consistently shown so much love for the fans of his and pretty much anyone! Amazing! I wish I could play and keep a consistent vocal fry while singing like him. I have been always fascinated with replicating someone’s sound from multiple genres to no end but his voice is absolutely unique! So it’s for sure hard.

Ever since that visit, I have become attached to his music. He is now one of my favorite artists and people in the music industry. It was so generous of him to come over and jam and to meet him, i just wish i knew him then as much as i know him now. Plus, never miss him when he comes around, because he puts on one hell of a show!

You know what... I am so happy that Ben had this opportunity to connect with young people this way, as much as I am happy for the people that got to experience Ben playing in front of them. Ben is a fragile and nuanced yet immensely talented artist with a well documented history of his own struggle with illness. His fear of flying, for example, has prevented his bands (in all iterations) from really expanding his music globally the way other bands have, and has lead to a lot of band struggles, leading then to turnover within the band. Ben needs these young people as much as they need him. You can clearly see that Ben is very comfortable in a place where he could easily be overwhelmed by the strangeness of it all. I can see that this time was therapeutic for Ben, and if anyone else watching this can't see (or refuses to see) that this time was equally beneficial for everyone, they are choosing to not know more about who Ben Burnley is and has become through the process of creating music.

followfornothing I recommend you need to read the top comment. Perhaps you should not be so ignorant, and jealousy will get you nowhere either. People like you stand out a mile.
@eyesofobsidian10 жыл бұрын
That's right, just keep calling people names, you'll get really far in life doing that. The kids were filming this, and it's their video. Give them a break, it's their experience, not yours. They were clearly in awe at the fact Ben was at their house, and as the comment at the top says, they didn't even know Ben was going to be at their house. I bet any footage of Ben in their own house was good footage. By you trying to retract from that you are coming across as pretty selfish. When they were filming this they clearly weren't thinking "oh dear, this is rubbish footage that other people won't like."
@followfornothing10 жыл бұрын
ddrumdude Get over yourself man, I made my apology known to the poster of this video in the first comment and had I _known_ that it was for a "Good Cause" and that Ben went out of his way to do this out of the "kindness of his heart" then I wouldn't have been so critical with my comment, I am pretty sure a lot of people who posted the same way that I have here would either say or feel the exact same because it wasn't posted that this was for charity, I have no reason to apologize to you because you are coming off like a troll to me and honestly I don't like your attitude either P.S. I am pretty sure someone will +1 your comment because that was all you wanted when you replied to my original comment was some attention. ;) Pretty sad.
