Nice to see the views from the top. Ben Chonzie was my compleation munro and it rained heavens hard and the cloud was down to the ground all day. I will venture back sometime and it will be good to do your route rather than the standard one.

How bizarre. Two weeks ago I walked the dog from Glen Turret car park to the very same point where you were camped. I’ve previously tackled Ben Chonzie (Ben-y-Hone) from the Glen Artney side, which was also nice, but had to stop just shy of the top as my elderly Mum was preparing dinner back in Comrie, and I knew better than to be late. Priorities, eh?

The only real way to do Ben Chonzie is all the way from Crieff and back again on foot, that way the mountain retains her respect, as all too often Ben -Y -Hone is noted as an easy ascent/ramble.
