I remember an executive suite where the telephone came in as some kind of a very striking turquoise color. And the man who worked in that office loved the color so much that he had all the walls and the floor and the furniture painted to match the telephone, obviously so he could see those things and enjoy them. Color blindness is a hidden burden for sure.

Side note: I have been a construction trainee on many projects. I've never seen construction jobs that we've done where no one wears PPE (personal protective equipment)...hard hats, steel toed boots, gloves, goggles, etc. I guess this is just for TV. If someone were to get banged with a beam or a roof implodes or flooring gives underneath them, they're in serious trouble.

Hmm... not quite the reaction I was expecting at the end with the glasses. I have color blindness in my family (I don’t have it, but my father does), and I have watched several videos on KZbin of people putting those glasses on and seeing color properly for the first time in their lives. It’s usually a very emotional thing for them. He was so blasé. Maybe they rehearsed that part so it wouldn’t take away from the emotion of seeing the beautiful house?

I've heard it can take some people a while to even be able to see the new colors, and of course some colors are more outstanding to them. It can also affect them very deeply so that they can't even express it. I think he was very touched, even though they just showed a second of his reaction.
