Excellent episode. I think Kevin is the best antagonist in classic series. A dark reflection of Ben himself. Where Ben needs to overcome temptations and become better, Kevin becomes worse. In OG, Kevin behaved this way because he was abandoned by his parents and had to defend himself from other gangs. A completely abandoned 11-year-old child without any support who had to fight for his existence. Therefore, he rejects Ben's offer of partnership and tries to take the Omnitrix, because for him, power is the only thing that matters (being raised on the streets, the only thing he knew was to defend himself aggressively). And yes, without spoilers, but Kevin is a long-term character

That's still debated. Some fans think it was the slamming, but it might also be the Omnitrix giving Ben exactly what he needs. Some think this because all Azmuth says about the slamming is the timeout function and how slamming the dial is what lengths or shortens it, he doesn't say anything about the random aliens before he cuts himself off. Plus, Ben has had a record of turning into aliens he didn't intend, and yet it always turns out perfect most of the time.

The thing with the Ben vs Max argument is one of these things you take different sides depending on your own age Me personally as a kid i thought Max was to harsh on ben, he saw a game he wanted to play whats wring with that As an adult im on Max side, Ben literally tress passed into a private room which inn itself illegal, than his family gets punished for something he did and the worst thing is that ben dosent even feel bad and dosent even think its his fault. And thats something i cannot sympathize with and im all for grandpa 2 week no sumo slam punishment Ben you said ”no fair” but so is max ”neither is us being punished for your bad behavior” And when it comes to ben vs kevin. Ben and kevin are very similar by breaking and stealing and being chased by the police but the only difference is that ben at least has a parental figure in Max to teach him from right to wrong Kevin was literally about to kill hundred of innocent just for money and laughs And im glad ben learned his lesson and it also taught the audience the lesson that even though your forgiven and everything turned out ok you still have to regain the lost trust

Kevin is arguably the better fighter having had to fend for himself on the street but he’s not stonger then Ben’s aliens The omnitrix uses a small amount of its battery so that it can help Ben when he absolutely needs it, what u saw was the omnitrix’s safety protocol that creates a energy based shockwave which Kevin absorbed that activates whenever someone is trying to forcibly remove the watch from Ben, the watch is physically fused with his anatomy so forcing its removal would be like shredding the meat off Ben’s bones. “it’s not a simple as taking off a hat”

I think it's more of a flaw in the format of the show itself, which is focused on an adventure for one episode. Although I think many viewers exaggerate Ben's behavior. I think he's very consistent in classic series and usually doesn't cross the line, especially for a 10 year old.

It's just a flaw with the formula of the show. Since I'm currently obsessed with it, Power Rangers for example has this issue in the early seasons and after Disney lost the rights. Ben does still develop though
