I was absolutely at the Death Cab/ Postal Service show for both bands There is a thread running through the music of both bands that is similar and unique at the same time. And both bands really are monumental and instrumental in creating a beautiful time in indie music - there was a lot of good indie music coming out at that time (early 2000’s ) and DCFC & TPS stand out as some of the best. Both have been HUGE and formative in my life, Both are magically fantastic and unique. I have gotten to see DCFC 9 times so there was definitely some more urgency to see The Postal Service but honestly there will never be a time when I’m not absolutely ecstatic and stoked to see DCFC.
