Hello,Was wondering if your father was in a band called Tabasco that used to play at the tomorrowland terrace at Walt Disney World? I finally found the bands name after a long hard search and then saw that they had a few videos up from the time I saw them play. If I have the wrong person here, I apologize. If the lead guitarist is your Dad, let me just say that back in the mid to late 80's, my family would frequent Disney about 3 or 4 times annually. We lived in Homestead, Fl. I must have been around 15 or 16 and had just taken up electric guitar. One of our trips, I by chance stumbled on Tabasco as I was cutting thru Tomorrowland Terrace on my way to Space Mountain. The amazing lead guitar coming from this band blew my mind. I stopped and watched the whole show and was just in awe of this mans skill and talent. I even remember the guitar he played, a mirror ball covered les Paul(small square mirror pieces inlayed into the guitars top). A super flashy instrument for a super flashy guitarist. His leads were spot on and effortless. I ended up watching every show they did, (if memory serves, as much as 3 or 4 a day)during that vacation. Eventually, he noticed me and my friends congregating over by his side of the stage as the stage would rise up out of the floor. He would give us a thumbs up as the band would finish its last song and disappear back down into the floor. Anyways, I've always wondered what happened to this master of the frets and if he still played. I live in Orlando now, and have my own band, but give much credit to him for kick starting my drive to play the guitar. Ok, a little long winded there but that's my story. If that was your father, wow! Any info on what he's up to these days would be such a bonus. If not, again sorry for the confusion. Sincerely,Lanier P

If you're wondering who that guitarist was, it's Ricardo Murguia. He's done most of the Spanish versions of Disney movies. It warms my heart knowing he's left a mark. ❤
