Truthful moment here, I really didn't know the depth of how much I could love one artist and how much I could FEEL music until Ben Howard.
@CastlesMadeOf...10 жыл бұрын
**FEEL** is exactly the right word, you dont just listen to his music you feel it
@Jameson619B8 жыл бұрын
I know how he is able to keep writing at this level boggles my mind, it's not supposed to look this easy. Songwriting and music can be a lot of "Hit & Miss" but Ben Howard doesn't seem to miss. Unlike any other artist Ive come across I can listen to all of his music over and over again and not get tired of it. I haven't heard one song from any other artist in 3 months, all Ben (that's the truth), and I don't see and end anytime soon. I love him live more so I went through the videos of him here on KZbin and downloaded them converting them to mp3, so I'm set for awhile and love it. My favorite right now is "Gracious" (well one of my favorites, along with "The Fear" and "Small Things") I don't know if you have heard it, if not you should give it a try. It's an older song from his first or second album I believe.

This guy is a living legend and will be remembered and listened to for generations. He's taken the acoustic guitar and made it his own unique sound that nobody else even comes close too. And he writes songs that convey pure emotion and hope through lyrics that are masterfully wtritten. He's basically created his own genre that can't be replicated. The definition of a pioneer and an artist.

Another great song by Ben Howard, but what's new? I don't know how I got by before I heard Ben Howard for the first time. He is awesome! His voice is obviously amazing as is his unique guitar play but what separates him from the rest is his songwriting. He has a knack for writing great songs, almost without fail. It is rare for an artist to be able to churn out great song after song. Most artists may have 2-3 songs per cd that are good and if you're lucky maybe a couple more ok songs with the rest being basically fillers. But not him, you would be hard-pressed to find 2-3 songs on his cd's that aren't great. To be honest I have probably around 70 of his songs and I can honestly say It would be difficult to pick out a handful that I don't love. THAT JUST DOESN'T HAPPEN, and yet somehow he doesn't get recognition, get the airplay or get the fame and yet artists like Lady Gaga, Justin Bieber and Rhianna are everywhere, it makes no sense. And unlike them and most of the other "Top 100" artists he sounds as good if not better live, A True Talent.
