The organ at Hollycombe graciously played this while I was there. Edward Taylor Paull is only known now through band organs which is rather sad, his spectacular marches deserve a lot more recognition. In my daydreams there occasionally is Edward Taylor Paull marches being played towards the long red road to Buckingham Palace by a Wurlitzer band organ with a whole colony of Geese marching in front of it.

Thanks Chuff. Nicely done. You've caught the spirit of the Gallop beautifully. I've liked this tune for years, and not arranged it yet. Too many melodies, and not enough time... 😉

Snap!!! I too prefer the Midnight Fire Alarm. But this is also a great marching and riding tune. Just imagine you are on a set of Galloping Horses wizzing round and this is where this tune hits.
