FUN FACT BJ ain’t coming to Chicago. You said in a post 2 weeks ago that BJ would ask two questions of any team he interviewed with what went wrong with the last HC and what is senior management going to do differently. This game and how well Caleb plays in it, could show Ben Johnson that the Bears team is alot better than their 4 + 10 record and if Caleb plays well and gets some protection, it might convince him that playing for the Bears and being the HC next yr will be alot better than most teams in the league that are looking for change.

Respectfully faiz, you wanted Josh McDaniels to replace fox. Then you wanted Brian daboll to replace Nagy. You also thought Shane Waldron was a home run hire. I’m wrong all the time too, but please let’s not hype up Ben Johnson if the bears hire him. The last 2 “hot coordinators” in the bears HC hiring cycle would have ended up horrible as well. Leflour, O’Connell, and Dan Campbell we’re not the “big name” offseason hires and worked out so great for those teams. Every bears content creator I watch were saying Waldron was a home run A+ hire. Coen was like a tier 3 hire the way I heard about him from content creators and now he’s a HC candidate 😂 I’m tired of everyone just hyping up the hot name when in reality it hardly works out. Our rivals didn’t hire the hot name, they hired the right guy. Wanna see a team who always hires the hot name? look at the giants. Detroit was a disaster until Sheila took over ownership, hired the right football pros and got out of the way. George and the McASSkeys are the biggest problems in Chicago- he doesn't know what he's doing and gets involved when he shouldn't be. I wish Virginia would sell the team!! good grief That being said, We've got to get the HC right this time and I think we've got to swing for the fences and go in on Ben Johnson. If the Bears hire another defensive coach or another inexperienced coach. I will be done with this franchise. The Bears should quit repeating the same mistake. Bears last 2 defensive Coaches have been awful, so awful they actually rank 2nd and 3rd all time worst coaches in Bears franchise history, one is even the worst coach in NFL history in one score games.
