Iona is my favourite place in Scotland (on par with Assynt) - beautiful idyllic and serene island 😍😍. On the other hand - we had a bad experience on Ben More - the only Munro which conquered us. Unforecasted heavy clouds quickly shrouded the whole mountain and we were not dressed for the occasion 😜. We will try next year.

@@PAADVENTURES1 yes, hope to get back sometime and do some exploring, fancy a trip out to see the fossil tree amongst other things. My last visit was for a week in December 2008 with main aim to compleat on Ben More. Got a cracking day for it and will always remember Elbow - One Day Like This playing on the radio as I.travelled the dark icy roads around to Dhiseig. It was indeed a beautiful day. Cheers Paul.

One of my favourite songs!! Remember dancing to that song as the last song of the night at my sisters wedding! I can remember my hair standing on end!! Yeah we are looking to go back in the autumn when it’s a bit quieter and explore the north of the island! Just packing the now for a big adventure this weekend 👍
