Don’t get me wrong, Ben Platt is one of my favorite vocalists! He has a sound like no other , absolutely gorgeous voice! But it’s hard to stand out with Jennifer Hudson. She’s just such a powerhouse! Wow! Great rendition of “Somewhere”.😀

As with all his guests, Ben is very generous vocally; he gave JHud every opportunity to shine (and she did! Love her!). If you want to hear something amazing, look up Ben's performance of "Somewhere" at the Grammys. Got him a standing O and gasps from the audience of music people.Thgis duet was brilliant!

Such an ignorant statement. Ben is a broadway singer. Jennifer is a pop singer , she's never played a role and she isn't as consistent in live performances as many other great musical theatre performers.

Your right Ben not in her league. In my opinion it's' because like alot of singers some get intimidated by her because of her power. With him he was singing with power but he had trouble sustaining his power. I don't think he realize how much of a powerhouse Jennifer really was.
