Another day, another Reylo edit!
Started this a while ago and wasn't sure if I'd ever finish it, but I really like this song with them so here you go! :)
And can I just say, I don't think I'd still be so invested in Reylo if it wasn't for the amazing fandom that goes with it! It's just filled with such passionate and talented people, all the edits and the fics and the fanart I see everyday is really what keeps me going and I feel so lucky to be a part of it! There's no fandom quite like it I think and I only wish I had discovered it before the sequel trilogy ended. TLJ is my favorite of the three and it would have been so nice to be there before TROS ruined everything haha.
I keep hearing that TROS was supposed to have this epic fight between Ben/Rey/Palpatine and that Ben was supposed to have dialogue and lines with Rey AS BEN and that it was supposed to end with them standing together on Tatooine and I don't know if that's true, but it makes me so MAD that we got robbed of that if it is! It's what we and the characters deserved! Just sayin.

The more the years go by and I review the movies more and more I am sure that the death was unnecessary and that we were never crazy, she loved him and it was reciprocal; I could even notice her line right after healing the saber wound: "I wanted to take Ben Solo's hand" in allusion to when he asks for her hand in Snoke's room. From all angles they are perfect!!

After watching this trilogy, I’ve been so obsessed with Rey and Ben’s relationship. It’s such a beautiful yet heartbreaking love story. The kiss they shared reminded me of best friends finally realising they love each other... I’m so intrigued by their relationship, I think that’s why I’m so obsessed 🖤🤍🥺 Also this edit was BEAUTIFUL! Oh my gosh! this is the best reylo edit I've ever seen by far! and to spread a little bit of hope, even if there is seemingly no way for ben to come back, I have a little tidbit to share. In the Mandalorian, before the Rise of Skywalker came out, they had the whole force healing thing, which a lot of people were theorizing on whether they'd bring it into the movie series or not. AND THEY DID! So, in the Clone Wars TV series, there is an instance when a main character goes seemingly back in time through a loophole, or a portal, to defeat a past/future enemy. AND, if THAT is possible, there is a possibility they could bring Ben back if they continue the movie series.

This song is already haunting as it is, but your scene choice as always adds more depth to the song meaning. Your minimal text really helped focus on the video too. 0:56 to 0:59 was a great use of motion with the singing and a significant movement that is rarely focused on in other videos that I particularly loved and then how you switch to her losing him at 1:03 after being focus on his face was just awesome! 1:07 to 1:37 was a splendid use of the first fight scene as a transition through various defining moments of when they were moved by one another whether by intrigue or in her case anger and then eventually understanding as the force brings them closer together and that "with you" being the moment when he was himself and SHE was lost was just chilling. 1:51 to 3:44 was touching and chaotic as you focused on their differences and how they're essentially always circling one another trying to take the other down and yet doing so only brings them closer and how you used the scenes to depict their never ending dance of sorts leading to their essential union based in acceptance. Yes, this is yet another of my favorites. I told you I'd be back haha

I remember when i watched the last movie, it feels like yesterday. I always since the first of the last 3 movies knew that they will become a couple, i wanted it so badly. And then the ending. I didn’t expect it and in the last scene i tought they would be together forever and there we go… he died. I never loved a ship this much before and watching this video makes me goosebumbs.

OMG I don't even know what to say to this video. I'm practically shaking because it is so good! I love this song. It must have a million covers, which are all so different and cool in their own way! And using this song in videos for our type of ship is just so perfect and it's always haunting and angsty as hell! I LIVE FOR IT! You are honestly so talented. And you are so sweet Ashley, you own my heart too ❤️ I always feel like I don’t deserve all those wonderful compliments you give me, it feels overwhelming, but in a good way ❤️. Noo I just realized I made a typo with “loose somebody like you” 😩 I swear I can never write that word right lol! I love that Kylo/Snoke quote too! But not to me.” And extended his hand, that woke me tf UP lol. I sat up and was like “wait did he just say, but not to me???” And Mo was like “idk maybe” like it didn’t matter and i was like no we need to rewind, it changes EVERYTHING if that’s what he said! And I watched the scene again and knew I was a goner lol. Mo was like he just insulted her though, but I knew Ben meant “to me you’re everything” !!😍 And I also think of you when I use Maz’s quote! It's so obvious what Ben is saying there, despite it not coming out very smoothly. I don't even think he meant to insult her. I think he just mean she COMES FROM nothing and in the grand scheme of things may not matter much, but that she is EVERYTHING to him. Which isn't that true for most of us? We're are nothing to the world, but everything to our loved ones. So basically he was telling Rey she was his world and he wants to spend the rest of his life with her by his side. I really really love this! Honestly, you're videos keep inspiring me and I really just love the different things you make me think of. I'd never thought of the parallels. When she says he won't get anything from her and he says we'll see and in the end he really got everything she could give him...and again when he says he can take whatever he wants and she says we'll see and again she gave him everything. OK it took me SO long to figure this out cause it was driving me CRAZY, but what worked for me (using Sony Vegas) is first you have to have a good download that allows you to do this (usually the HD ones with 5.1 audio and all that). Then the project properties have to be width: 1,920, height: 1,080. AND THE MOST IMPORTANT is when you render the video you have to custom the template to width: 1,800 and height: 1000 so that it works with yt. Hopefully that helps!
