@@KingKunta_ I can see why you say that but I feel Wilson gets his praise. Ben was in the NFL for 8 years before Russell Wilson and still just continually gets better over time. Brady, Manning, Brees and Rodgers have always overshadowed him. But I do think Wilson is also underrated but to be fair, evaluate that again in 8 more years.

CowSlayer2 lmao u mean if Ben haven’t gotten jealous lol the second Ben started loosing credibility shit went south he started saying AB name then grasped on to juju using him as leverage saying Steelers always have good wr...while this may be true the fans who at heart think AB wasn’t the best wr to hit Pittsburgh ever can’t see talent, it showed when he left while Ben was hurt juju still could not find separation bc AB wasn’t there taking on the number 1 CBS n double teams us loosing AB is a bigger loss then we think only thing saving us is the the fact finnlly the D is coming together after a whole decade AB should be respected on Pittsburgh he carried that offense for 8 years

chuck don’t know how u don’t it’s what happened everyone just went with the media that It’s ABs fault y’all watch when Ben comes back he’s not winning shit unless the defense gets back to its old ways that’s what steeler fans don’t get Ben is one of the luckiest QBs ever he came into a fully stacked defense n offense then get a even better offense with AB Wallace extra n couldn’t win Ben is overages he is no better then Eli with throws he has one good one here n there he deff isn’t elite if he was he would of won with that offense but he needs a defense to save him

@@jacobwilson7030 QB passing stats were much worse back in Bradshaw’s era, so it’s idiotic to compare based on that alone. For how bad his stats look on paper, he still managed to win an MVP. Ben’s never even gotten an MVP vote. Terry was more elite relative to his own era than Ben is/was relative to his own, and he has twice as many rings. And don’t forget that Ben’s first ring was won in spite of him. Bradshaw is comfortably better than Roethlisberger.
@ThorMaximus2 жыл бұрын
@@bobtyler6398 For the ignorance that Super Bowl XL was won in spite of him. Consider how he shredded 3 playoff games to get the team there and ran for TD. If he puts air under ball in 3rd qtr, it’s 21-3 and game over. Steelers were 20x the Seahawks in that game. Seattle didn’t score a point vs Pittsburgh in next 3 games played.

Ben Roethlisberger has the most underrated, underappreciated career in QB history. READ these stats: 5th all time in wins 5th all time in passing yards 5th all time in completions 3rd all time in game winning drives 3rd all time in 4th quarter comebacks 1st all time in 500+ yard games 1st all time in perfect passer rating games 13 playoff wins, 5 conference championship games, 3 Super Bowls, 2 rings The Steelers have had ZERO losing seasons since drafting him 18 years ago. Without question, that body of work COMFORTABLY has an argument for Ben being a Top 10 quarterback of all time. And yet, it's like pulling teeth to get the media to consider him for even Top 15 or Top 20. THEE ONLY stats Ben is low in, are "human voting stats" (MVP's, All Pros, etc). Ben battled "opinion polls" like those awards his whole career. The media hated him, the refs allowed opponents to tee off on him more than other QB's without flags, he accomplished Top-5 all time major category throwing stats in an ALL OUTDOOR COLD-WEATHER division, filled with snowy, windy, muddy weather harder to put up numbers in. He did it through so many surgeries, concussions, and broken bones that we've all lost count and yet somehow managed to play to nearly 40 years old. He did it from a small mid-major school to 15-1 in the NFL AS A ROOKIE! He's a historically great winner, too. His 5th all time in wins isn't like other stats because the number of games has remained relatively stable over the generations, between 14 and 17 since 1972. So in the truest sense, Ben was supremely talented at doing the single most important role as quarterback, which is find a way to win. I hope the Hall Of Fame CORRECTS Ben's career-long underappreciation by voting him in on the FIRST BALLOT.

Why do so many people forget or don't realize that right before the winning play he made a great throw to the other corner of the end zone which went right thru the hands of the "MVP". He then gave the "MVP" another chance. That is the main reason Big Ben most certainly was the real super bowl 43 MVP.

Roethlisberger throwing to Holmes: 9-13 131 yds 1 TD. Roethlisberger throwing to everyone else: 12-17 125 yds 1 INT. And it wasn't just the TD catch that won him the MVP, it was the fact that Holmes had 73 yards on that last drive, including a 40 yard catch and run to set up the touchdown.

I don't know if these are the greatest hits or not. I also don't know if they are a comprehensive collection of "career highlights." Perhaps the creator was just leaving it open-ended and not saying these were ALL the highlights, because Ben has so many! What really liked about the video is these were edited to allow the story of each game to flow. It's almost a collection of Ben's most entertaining games, which explains why so many clips were against the Ravens. 😆 I also loved seeing the past receivers and running backs who when they left Ben, suddenly didn't look as great. ;)
