Had the privilege of meeting the whole Boy Meets World cast a comic con a few years ago! Ben was so nice, and he complimented my shirt (It was a Feeny shirt of course!) I was so nervous for the picture I kept rambling about how much he meant to me and how this show as my childhood and then I put my arm around him for the picture without even thinking and I was like "Oh sorry is this weird!?" and he goes "PShhh! Not at all!" Good dude! Got to meet Bill Daniels too, aka Mr. Feeny!

Honestly, I think just seeing him at comic cons and other interviews with fans I think he’s just become very shy/uncomfortable speaking publicly. They said they are all still great friends though!

My guess is a podcast channel/ agency/ whatever they call them probably reached out to the cast to see if they wanted to do a recap series because of the success of Office Girls. Which means they get paid and the money probably wasn't there for him.

I've been rewatching Boy Meets World episode Commentaries because I'm just in love with Pod Meets World, and Ben Savage is in a lot of them, but he is very quiet! I can only imagine he is perhaps introverted and reserved, or maybe just shy or even a lil socially anxious. Either way, I guess it's just not his thing. 🤷

Being an effective podcaster is challenging in a completely different way to acting. It’s a skill set all its own, they typically lens itself to people who are a little more extroverted or good with improvisation. For the audience, a good podcast feels like we are just listening to interesting people talk, but for the podcaster, it’s having loosely scripted conversations that need to feel natural, but structured enough to keep moving. It’s a tough balance, and it’s not for everyone.

Yes but the problem with Girl Meets World was that they were trying to juggle two generations of characters and audiences that it didn’t go right. Not even the actors were aware of the direction the show was going to go until they were already mid way through the series. Danielle Fishel honestly explained it best during a recent reunion you should check it out. A movie or even adult series could work but it would have to be about the characters themselves as adults and not focus on the kids. Now that some time has past maybe they could have Riley, Maya and the rest of the crew away in college. Keep Auggie around as well. It could work similar to Friends.

Girl Meets World also shows how history repeats and parents lives, past and present, affect the stories and journey’s of their children. Girl Meets World never sacrificed the story of the young by trying to do too much with the adults, there was always a lesson, a takeaway, one the show would build on and revisit

Admittedly, I didn't watch a lot of Wonder Years in my earlier years, but it's amazing how good and 'a-hole' character he can play. I forgot the name of the movie he played in but I think it was some Hallmark movie he did where he was a psycho character, very good acting in it.

I'm a big BMW fan in the 90s, i enjoy watching GMW, love life lesson from both show, they should do Friends Meet World, Riley Lucas can be couple, while Maya, Farkle, Josh, Zay and Smackle all can be single. Something like Friends or Big Bang Theory, i think that would be cool to watch.

Ben, please hear me.... You can make a freaking awesome show. Call it "we meet world." Or something like that. What gmw was missing was balance. BMW had balance. I mean it had a certain maturity from season 2 - 7. Guys could watch it. Gals could watch. I felt weird watching gmw. The girl that played your daughter did a great job. It was just a little too "cookie-cutter" and cringy for a 40 yr old man. Lol. You can bring back all the old characters. The only thing I would critique, would be to please make it accessible to everyone. I watch BMW to this day. Because it was funny, relatable, and anyone could watch it. That's all. I would just like to see a new show with everyone in it and different story arcs. With, hopefully, the same writers, or writers up to BMW par, plotting the show. That is all. Thank you for everything you've done. I grew up watching you grow up, and I would love to see the 2nd half of these characters lives. Anyways, thanks for everything.
