Oh my god i thought i was the only one. my younger brother is also fem to male trans, and has been so for a little over 4 years. In the beginning It was very hard for me to accept him when he came out. Not because i was transphobic but because i was afraid i would loose my beloved sibling to something i wasn't familiar with. I feel so guilty, now that i see how happy he is with his life decision and how much stronger he has become because of it. I think it’s kinda the opposite with sexuality in America. Women are shown off and regularly sexualized in the media from a young age, we get used to seeing girls in more revealing outfits in music videos and tv, rather than men. The ratio between conventionally attractive women vs conventionally attractive man also adds to it. We commonly se half naked girls in music and other media, just not in an empowering way, but as a backdrop to make guys feel good, but I wanna see girls showing guys off, show me a dude in a thong clapping cheeks in the back ground, show off the male body. It should be normalized just like women in media are normalized to do so. If the guys aren’t comfortable with that, maybe they should tone it down with sexualizing girls so often. It’s so often some dudes will watch anime or some music videos and normalize girls walking around ass out, but if the same attention was put in a man they would be uncomfortable.

Love this explanation of the significance of the song and video, and the way in which women expressing their sexuality is treated as much more taboo than if a man expresses his sexuality. Great point about the way that Black women are often hypersexualised at a young age, and then shamed for it when that was not something they chose. Parasitologist here: Trichomonas vaginalis is the parasite's Latin name. The suffix -iasis means "infestation or infection of (prefix)". So Trichomoniasis is the name of the disease. As much as I hate to say it, what Ben said was correct. Strictly speaking you get tested for presence of Trichomonas, not trichomoniasis. You should probably check these things like that out, because otherwise I would have really enjoyed this video :-)

As someone with female.. parts (trans guy) I can tell you that it definitely isn't discharge they're talking about... Edit: you gave me an idea as a storywriter. A female character who is not open about her sexuality and isn't seen as good by people and one who is very open about her sexuality and is the 'good' character. Basically what I do with my male characters anyway because I'm gay as fuck Edit: nevermind I already have female characters like that lol Memory issues go brr But anyways I don't give two shits about gender unless it's someone I wanna date. I write my characters equally
