for the people who say he's screaming after every point, these are highlights which are the best points of the match! I watched the whole match live and he never screamed unless it was a crucial point he won or just a flat out amazing shot. Keep going Shelton!

Shelton ended the 2023 season #17 and Zhang ended it #58. Shelton reached AO QF, USO SF, Laver Cup title, Shanghai QF, Tokyo 500 title, & a peak of #15. Shelton posted significant match wins over Paul (USO & Tokyo), Tiafoe (USO), & Sinner (Shanghai). Not bad for his first full year on tour.

Powerful offense and weapons are critical in winning a grand slam. Shelton has that, if he can keep his mental strength and composure which is the other most important thing, then yes he can beat the top players and win the title.

Zhang's and Ben's game are very similar, unfortunately Zhang left a few floaty drop shots for Ben to take advantage of. In all fairness, what a tight game. But celebrating and screaming while making eye contact with opponent is just unsportsmanlike...i mean screaming itself is fine...
@monica012077

I disagree, Zhang is way too passive and stands way too far behind the baseline. Zhang actually has better groundstrokes than Shelton he may not experience playing S&B players.
