In my opinion he really missed an opportunity. Even though he had a slave owner ancestor, which probably was embarrassing or shameful for him, but 100 years later Ben’s mother was protesting in Mississippi. Yes, Ben Affleck’s mom was one of the many white college students in the 1960s that went to Miss and helped blacks people register to vote and protested during the civil rights movement. That could’ve been a great moment for him and his family. Whoever your ancestors were does not mean that’s what you are today. It’s an incredible heel turn and He really missed the mark on that. Yes it’s embarrassing but it’s something that he could’ve been proud of because his family ended up being on the right side of history at some point, starting with his mother and maybe grandmother.

I think both Ben and Jen both made hugely 🎉poor decisions towards the downfall of their marriage, but I agree that at this point Jen seems to be sacrificing towards the good of their marriage and blended marriage. For him to say he realized he awakened from a fever dream .. is such a cop out! No grown ass man would say that! Ben may be a successful writer, director, and Oscar winning actor but he sure hasn't learned how to take responsibility for his own issues. I think they both would be better off separating, working on their own issues independently, but keep their family together. Then they should have firm boundaries in place about what is absolutely intolerable to them, honor those boundaries, and then when they're both on more solidified ground, work on putting the marriage back together. A marital separation without divorce could do them a world of good if they both work on getting healthy independently of each other.

Yes, that was pure evil and very passive aggressive of Jennifer. She did many highly manipulative and passive aggressive thing to Ben that I'm surprised he didn't walk out then...not limited to selling his prized motorcycle collection to charity, developing DeLola an alcohalic drink when she is married to a recovering alcohalic and didn't really like alcohal previously, and she displayed 20 years worth of love letters to her record producers without even asking him or mentioning it, completely betraying his confidence and trust in her. She has made some very selfish and entitled choices that would be outrageous to expect a different outcome. There is a part of JLo that seems to really thrive on the element of surprise and enjoy deeply hurting someone and toying with their emotions. No sane person would put up with that. So Jennifer has her own demons and needs to fully accept responsibility, own it, and become a better person and partner. They both have extreme issues that would make being married to either of them extremely difficult!

Just mentioning that Delola was already in development before she reunited with Ben again. It was the brainchild developed by Arod for Jennifer. It came about after years of development. Kind of late to be scrapping all that hard work. To be fair his ex Garner was quite the wine drinker while married to Ben. The love letters were when they were engaged the first time, the emails were of congratulations through the years on their achievements. The other love letters were when Ben started wooing her when she was hurting from Arod’s infidelity.

I have a hard time believing Jen is helping Diddy with money when she goes out of her way to take tips back from waitresses, leaves restaurants without paying bill per some stories, and expects when she makes appearances to have her entourage paid for as well as their lodging, per some stories that came out. She doesn’t exactly come off as generous and giving with her money. I can believe it if she is being blackmailed by Diddy that if she doesn’t help him, he will release some dirt on her since he keeps records of everything . Maybe that I can believe.

I've been praying for both of then and their precious children. Nothing will ever permanently change for the better or be great in their lives until they surrender their lives to the Lord. AA requires that they realize that they're powerless on their own to make the needed changes. They're then to surrender to a Higher Power. There is no power higher than Jesus and He literally makes a way where there seems to be no way! Neither Ben and Jen have grasped that they truly need the Lord in their lives to make the crooked paths straight. We all do! I'm praying for that to happen in their lives and for a true miracle transformation that only God can perform! 🙌 🙏 ❤
