That's exact spring setup I'm using. I was setting primers off fine at 9lbs main spring but I Ve tested a bunch and for me 13lbs gives better recoil impulse while still having manageable DA pull.

@@airforcewes bullshit, that's not how physics work. Also just take like 18 and 9 lbs main springs and see for yourself, you will be surprised if that's what you think. It doesn't affect shooting as much as recoil spring just because recoil spring also returns the slide, but main spring gets tensioned when slide is coming back and absolutely affects feeling of the gun by absorbing some of the force

An 11lbs recoil spring and a 13LBS hammer spring is fairly light. If he can shoot anything with that setup is good.

Wouldn’t an extended firing pin with a light pin spring also help the gun accept any ammo? Specially reloads with hard primers
