Ben Venue | Loch Achray | Loch Lomond and the Trossachs

Ben Venue lies within the Trossachs, a beautiful forest filled area dotted with lochs and part of the Loch Lomond and the Trossachs national park. Ben Venue is fantastic mountain, with beautiful views over loch Katrine, Loch Achray, Loch Venachar, The Ochil hills and those on the shore of Loch Lomond, standing proud at the southern edge of the highlands.

It's the Mavic air 2S I've got. If you're thinking of buying a new one though I would probably wait until they release the new certified drones so you can fly it in more places. The drone legislation is an absolute mess just now. I'm not into it yet, but hopefully give it a go this winter. Need a couple bits of kit first 😄

Jeezo Kris, what a phenomenal piece or work you have produced - you've absolutely nailed it! An incredible video mate, well done! My experience with the mountain was very similar, my first attempt was from Ledard Farm (my preferred ascent route as it's much more exciting/scenic), reaching the summit in strong winds with little to no visibility and sodden bogs just below the main crags. I returned exactly 7 days later from the same route as you show here, a slow burner with a heavy pack but well worth it as sunset was incredible, the skies were full of stars as I ate my dinner & after camping on the highest point I awoke to a stunning cloud inversion with lovely soft light creating an unbelievable atmosphere to soak in.
