I was just 9 years old when Ben Wilson got killed, and i could remember it like yesterday... you could have sworn the President got killed, it was a sad time in the City for at least 15 years you would hear his name ehco in the streets. Ben Wilson heart will forever beat in Chicago... never to be forgotten.

30 for 30 on ESPN brought me here. This 46 year old white dude soaked the pillow watching that documentary... Every Chicago HS should spend 90 minutes a year showing that special to let kids know to stay on track. Watching the documentary all I was thinking is Ben was KG and KD before KG and KD

I was a freshman in H.S when the tragedy went down. I can remember it was solemn in the classrooms. The new school year had just begun i believe. After all these decades, still, what a senseless....pitiful thing to have happened.

this truly is a moving story and so sad. it really touched me watching the espn 30 for 30 on his story. would have been amazing to see what he would have been able to achieve at the next levels. but to be fair and object he was only in high school. some people actig like he would have been the greatest ever based off of 3 years in high school. its just sad we didnt get a chance to see
