Jehst is actually from Huddersfield in leeds. He's originally northern. Listen to anything pre- '99 and his flow and voice are totally different. Once he met Supa T his whole voice changed completely and sounded a lot like Supa T. Everyones influenced by someone, some more than others. Not exactly ripping of or biting. However, i can see how it could be construde like that.

PennyDropRecords I’ve followed Jehst since the Premonitions EP days pre 2000 and best believe he ain’t getting influenced by Benaddict.... agree with Jarvis, Jehst definitely switched his style a bit when he met Sundragon (who I wish never gave up rapping he was a total don).
