Honestly Danish rap is nothing like the big scene. Those who sell out and follow the ''Rick Ross'' path tend to make a decent wage, but mostly Danish rappers rap about everyday life. Which isn't life in the projects. Danmark has a fairly secure welfare system tied into a social democracy. If you're a gangster, then it's a choice, you're not a victim of circumstance. So yeah, everday shit. The dope-factor takes effect in creative wording. For instance one of the rappers spits ''I party like kamakazi pilots on pay day''. Kamakazi pilots crash their planes into the opposition, and so this is reference to people commiting financial suicide by blowing half their wage on a night out, and then doing it all over again the following month. Which is a clever and hilarious reference.
