Thank you so much bro. You've literally taken me back to my childhood days. We used to listen to this amazing song with my cousins in Siaya Kababa especially after looking after our grandfather's cattle. Ayie kodi osiepa. 1997 still fresh in my mind.

@@OkwatchOmoro when I listen these songs, I always wonder where members of this great team are. I really feel bad that I enjoyed their songs during those days I was young until today, but have no opportunity to thank them in person and even at least buy a soda. I swear, as long as God gives me life, one fine day, I will surprise one of these mighty artists with very expensive gifts.

Ben Bro.... the lads on the instruments, wasn't in essence or by and large the underpinnings of Victoria Chomeka?
@OkwatchOmoro4 жыл бұрын
Chomeka borrowed a lot from these guys. They had a team from both Omore and Collella. Later, others also came from Okumu's Jolly Boys Band and joined them. That is the reason you can feel Chomeka had it all.

@@OkwatchOmoro Ben, please allow me to intervene, the Prince Jully Band was inspired in a song called "Kapis Ogalo Nyalgunga" of Victoria Chomeka, composed by Lady Mauryn Adhiambo Onyango in 1994, to play this tune in early 1996. They actaully borrowed a lot from Victoria Chomeka.

Thanks Ben. I remember this song. I was still you. As accurately as my memory can support, I recall its the last (and possibly the only) album July produced and he died mysteriously. His was such a shocking news to everyone including children like me he did not even know him. Ohh, unless am wrong, but I think this team also had Dr. Omolo Kongigo and Sell Nyaimbo, just before Omolo went ahead to form own band. Can someone tell me where he is. The song (Selly Nyaimbo) remains as hot as it was.

Actually, the vocalist for Kondigo was Adorry Nyamagunga. She is the one who did vocals in the song Selly Nyaimbo
