THE PAINFUL DEATH OF "KAW GINO" BAND It all began in Rawila Super Kings band. Rawila was great and had one of the most popular hit song Aoko Lizy (Ing'weto kanye). Rawila became a real threat to other benga music bands as they released hit after hit. Nyako wesanda, Adhiambo Penina and Abdul Mang'ang'a were real thought out luo lyrics. Masterpiece of art to say the least. The Rawila Super Kings team Otieno Ong'echa ~ Band master Peter Kenya ~ Vocalist Angwai Jagita ~ Rhythm guitar Arong'a Jamakosa ~ Vocalist John Suda ~ Bass guitar Dan Okinyo ~ Solo guitar Ajack Jaungas(Ajaki Panda)~Drums The team would later break up as some members opted to have their own band. Very much in order. KAW GINO was formed This team was promising as never before. Many up to date can not differentiate songs done by KAW GINO SUPER KINGS from those done by RAWILA SUPER KINGS. Those who left Rawila were Peter Kenya, Arong'a Jamakosa and Angwai Jagita. While in KAW GINO, the trio teamed up with the likes Omondi Party and Odongo Potco. They lived to the expectation of their fun base. Their music like Ich Wang' , Ji Ariyo, Tugo Chalre among others were real art work. THEN DEATH CAME, After about two albums the legendary Angwai Jagita died. As people mourned, 2 hours later, Peter Kenya died. It was heart wreaking. The same week Arong'a Jamakosa was pronounced dead. KAW GINO band was done and dusted. Odongo Potco is still alive according to my sources and occasionally plays at Bondo. Omondi Party would later be stubbed to death the same week Ochieng Jaludhi was being buried. Ochieng Jaludhi played with Kamaliza Majengo and Ous Jalamo Jautajo. Cc. Nelson Omondi Chris Pilot GB
