Rookies...haha You looked like me 10 years ago when I had no clue about boards and just bought whatever the "experts" told me to at that moment. Or encouraged what I (who had no clue about boards) thought was "cool." I ended up going through 4 boards, 3 bindings, 4 pairs of boots, and pretty much 3 pairs of "clothes/helmets" before I learned my lesson, and did my own research about boarding equipment. Sorry, I don't mean to pick on you...but you always seem to buy things on a whim. Not that I can judge. :P

Some tips that might help Nicole as a beginner snowboarder, even though she's doing amazing now, would be to put the majority of her weight on her front foot and that way she can easily move her back foot from side to side to carve better, and point your front hand in the direction you want to go and then you will go that way!
