Thanks so much Russell and I'll definitely do my best to get the 32 on the bench as soon as I can 🙂 I'll just be getting the 65 done this month hopefully and making a bit of progress on that to have it finished by month end so we can get the 32 on the bench. We have a few more projects we need to fit in now too so I best get busy! 🙂 Thanks again for your support Russell and helping us get to the 1000 mark, we couldn't have done it without people like you 🙂

Thanks Shawn, honestly I'd still be well under despite trying if it wasn't for your support and friendship over the last year or so. Looking forward to the little deuce sedan but it's going to be pushing my abilities as I'm just not a hot rod builder at all, hopefully it won't turn out showing that fact too much though haha 😂 thanks again Shawn and speak soon no doubt 🙂

@@thescalemodelcarguychannel8681 thanks Shawn, you're too kind brother ❤️ well I'll certainly give it my all as usual, I don't think there is any beating the original though ☺️ I guess I'll have to learn to chop a 32 now though 😂

hi john looking forward to the deuce build mate, i recently built a chopped 32 sedan (fully fendered)and used the body from the orange crate drag car kit ,turned out pretty well. glad you have reached 1000 subs,well deserved!!. i always look forward to your videos. and glad that plenty of others do to.

Hi Laurie, thanks mate really appreciate it 🙂 the Orange Crate did come into my mind but to be honest haven't had one of those in a while now and they seem to go for good money when they come up which seems excessive just to rob the body on this project. Your project definitely sounds cool though as you don't see many fully fendered built up. Thanks for the support anyways Laurie, I really do appreciate you watching the videos 🙂

Sounds like an interesting project, good thinking with the Lil Coffin parts. The AMT ‘32 Ford bodies were sectioned about eight inches in order to fit the chassis when building them fenderless. Compare it to any of the stock - and far more accurate - Revell Deuces.
@J.B.Scale.Creations
@J.B.Scale.Creations 4 ай бұрын
Thanks Mike, I am looking forward to getting this one done but maybe not the chop 😂 I knew the body looked sectioned but never really knew the reasoning so that does make a lot of sense now after years of looking at them bodies thinking they were quirky. I doubt I'll find a revell body before I start the project so think the Amt one will be fine, think I'm just dubious about cutting up an old kit but as long as it turns out nice then I guess it won't matter as much... The little coffin parts will definitely make the project easier though and make at least one element of of the build that little bit easier ☺️ thanks again anyways and hope you're doing okay mate.

Awesome! These projects are going to be very interesting, I have couple Hot rods amt model t where you can build 2 models and two 1/8 scale models Lindberg tall T and monogram 32 roadster. I'm gonna try and send email propably at weekend, take care and have a nice rest of the week

Hi Asko, those early Amt double kits were great and very rare until they started re-popping them in the late 90s onwards. Had many but never actually built one, think I have one or two of the variants left in the collection but always reluctant to build stuff like that as I always break something in storage as they're so fragile once built. My dad is a big 1/8 buff and probably has at least 30-40. When the Big T first got reissued 20 years ago or so I built him one and still think it sits in a display case, couldnt get the front steering to work or glued something wrong so it just sits with the front wheels posed.. can't remember when I last saw it but will be in his garage along with everything else. Speak soon anyways mate.

Thanks Theo, really appreciate it mate. It's definitely hard to get up there in an ocean of other channels and for KZbin to push content out into recommendations but I'm sure you'll get there yourself soon too. Hopefully I'll continue to get more visibility and always try to do good work for the channel regardless. Speak soon anyways I'm sure 🙂

Would look great unchopped but slightly chanelled over the chassis
@J.B.Scale.Creations
@J.B.Scale.Creations 4 ай бұрын
Thanks Dom, I'm kind of with you on the un-chopped look but no doubt I'll probably go ahead and slice it. I've no issue chopping anything, even considering a 911 that doesn't daunt me but though a 32 looks simple there is a lot that has to go into it to make it look right. If I do decide to chop it will be minimal as I don't want it looking like a Bonneville car which can easily be done with a fraction too much out of it. It's either that or Drag city resins do a nice one but just all the expense of getting one shipped over kind of put me off that idea. Thanks again anyways mate and speak soon. 🙂

Going to be a sweet project John! It's hard to cut up an original, but I think the resin may be tricky to deal with since it's generally pretty brittle.
@J.B.Scale.Creations
@J.B.Scale.Creations 4 ай бұрын
Thanks Adam, really appreciate it mate 🙂 definitely going to pain me to cut into what is quite a sort after kit but like you say the resin body will probably give me more of a nightmare than it's worth. I don't know why a chop on a 32 daunts me so much where as others really don't, but I guess if I don't underestimate the difficulty before I start I'll not set myself for failure as much, regardless it needs to be done so guess I'll not know until I try 😂 Thanks again for the support mate, it's really appreciated and hopefully speak soon 🙂

@J.B.Scale.Creations You got this, 32 has pretty vertical pillars so there's not much for stretching and filling. Start small and work up to the chop you want.

@@sodakmodelcars Thanks Adam, really appreciate it. It's definitely only going to have a small slice anyways hopefully won't go too far too soon 😂 but you're right mate, cutting that resin one would probably just end in tears, Drag city has some nice chopped bodies but by the time I get one over it'll probably add another $70 to the build so I'll stick with hacking up that rare kit instead 😂 thanks again mate and hope you're keeping well.
