I love the bugout. for sure on my top 5. but I hate the stock handle jajajaja. I always put an after market scale on it jajaja. Great review man :)

I wouldn't call it the best EDC knife but it is definitely one of my favorite and most carried back up knives.

Have you tested an S90V blade for it's HRC? I Googled and got 58...thought that couldn't be right if everyone is saying how "haard" it is and how difficult it is to sharpen.

No love for the omega spring. But do like the mini crooked river...if it weren’t for the omega spring...but that knife is so eye candy for me and looks like it’ll will hold it’s own against all

I know some retailers won’t ship Autos to New York. You will have to shop around. Autos are illegal in New York as far as I know. Here is a summary of the knife laws. www.akti.org/state-knife-laws/new-york/

Great blade, brutal scales, they just feel so cheap in hand. If you decide you like the knife, give a set of aftermarket scales a try (CF or Ti). It gives the knife a much more premium feel in hand, and still maintains its light weight.

I’m probably going to keep this one stock as a benchmark, but I might pick up another with 20CV and see what it’s like to customize it. Might make a good video!

@@ThePocketPerspectiveSolid plan, the knife feels completely different with more premium scales. While you are in the custom shop, have a look at the mini crooked river. Seems to be about the perfect edc size, more comfortable in hand and definitely feels more premium.

@@ThePocketPerspective Bugout Customs are great! I got my in M4! Hopefully, it’s properly heat-treated?!Stayed with the Grivory scales for lightness & cost-friendly. Also, cool thing in the customization it gives options of different choices of scales on a single build. Got mine in show-side OD Green & clip-side Black w/Red accents on thumb-stud & barrels.
