Been using mine for work for about 6 months. I cut all kinds of materials. The edge retention is great. Only sharpened it twice and seems to get tougher with each sharpening. No complaints. Well made and easy to maintain.

Please share what kind of sharpening tool you used. I have my roommates nonstick frying pan to smooth out any dull spots.

Just got mine on Monday and I freaking love it! Had the previous version but let it go because it was a boat anchor, but they shaved a very noticeable amount of weight from this version and that was the perfect call for a redesign. Really like the almost marbled CF look to the scales and they feel super solid to me. Bigger knife but rides well, slices well and the price is on point. Just a total win in my book. 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

The CF Elite is my favorite edc when hunting and hard use. It travels with me often. I have the mini shot show in bronze coming, I'm sure it will be great also. Great review!

I have one, and I love it! It’s not the prettiest knife in my collection, but hot damn it’s good for work. My only gripe is that mine came with substantial lock stick, but it’s worn off by now.

I just bought one of these, based on several KZbin reviews (including yours). Holy moly... what a great knife. I can't believe it's not more popular, it's so good! It might just replace my Cold Steel Large Voyagers as my favorite large, tough, but still light enough to be EDC-able, work knife. I really like the CF elite (have one of the CF Bugouts too), it's becoming one of my favorite handle materials, I hope they make other models using it. Can you imagine a A CF elite 940 at a $140 Price point? or a Freek? :)

I picked up the Mini Presidio II CF-Elite at Sportsman’s Warehouse in Rochester, NY the other day, and I love it. Perfect EDC size and solid build. Feels much better in hand than the Bugout and the polymer handle doesn’t feel as cheap as on the regular Bugout, Barrage or Griptilian.

Excellent review. I also have the original Presidio 2 with aluminum scales, bought this CF Elite Presidio 2 and love it even more. A lot lighter and handle scale texture feels great. I liked the knife so much I picked up a second one. Knife arrived perfectly centered and action is smooth. Keep up the great reviews and stay safe brother.

So I got a 5000 OG presidio from a pawn shop that had been de-assisted but i was super impressed. If it wasn't such a brick and didn't have a combo edge I would have carried it more. I definitely am interested in the mini version of this .

I love my original 570. I do think it is on the heavier side and the aluminum skills can be a little bit slippery. So the update is warranted. This knife does not look as appealing as other Benchmade offerings but it is a great overall knife.

I just got my Presidio what a great knive everything was spot on. The centering was perfect the action butter smooth, priced not bad for this perfect high performance knive. Great job Benchmade

Just got mine Monday. So nice! Fit and finish is great. It is my first Benchmade and I am flipping it nonstop. My poor pm2 can't compare to this. Got from knifeworks shipping was very fast. The clip kind of sucks with my Dickeys(to loose compared to pm2) they definitely need someone else sharpening these things.

To be completely honest, I hold Benchmade in high regard both in terms of quality and design, but this particular model simply does not speak to me. I feel like it lacks a pronounced elegant blade line and the handle is too bulky. As always, an outstanding review. Thanks, mate!

Great review. I just got one and the axis lock sticks when I use the thumb stud to open. I have to use a lot of force to unstick it. And the axis is super stiff. Other than that, this thing is great. Any ideas on how to resolve the axis issue?

I can not believe that people are concerned about the weight of the Presidio 2 CF knife being personally cumbersome . I carry it everyday without thinking it is weighty. It is not a large knife, being a nice size. Male Kitty Cats. I won't buy Benchmade anymore because the prices are high.
