Honorable mention duo for the Philadelphia Eagles: Quinyon Mitchell and Cooper DeJean. When Philly went into the off-season everyone said the Eagles needed secondary help and bad. Howie Roseman responded with his black magic forcing other teams to pass on Corners in the first round so he got Quinyonamo Bay Prison without sacrificing anything and making people doubt the white cornerback enough to make other teams racially profile his position group so he also doesn't have to move to get him. Now Philly has one of the best AND youngest secondaries in the league. God bless High Marshall Roseman.

For the Bucs I would instead put injuries in general for the entire team. Everyone complains about their team being injured but I don't think they have had games where they ran out of linebackers or safeties. Or have so many receivers injured that the Tight End becomes the best receiver against the Chiefs.

Jerry Jones does not care about football. He is solely here to make money. Which doesn’t make sense considering he’s one missed step away from seeing flames. He said we’re going all in to get people to watch. Then he waited to pay Dak and CeeDee until it would cost the entire salary cap, giving him an excuse as to why he didn’t sign anyone in free agency. He brought in Zeke for pocket change (and then Zeke changed his number which means new jerseys to sell). Then when we suck and then everyone gets hurt, he brings in Mingo, a random dude he won’t have to pay squat, as cheap publicity. I would never wish death on anyone, especially not because of a sport, but that missed step is right there

I’d also say Joe Brady. Joe Brady has managed to get Josh to think “while not elite, I’ve got a bevy of guys who can help me on offense”. James Cook, Ray Davis, Keon Coleman, Mack Hollins, Khalil Shakir, Dalton Kincaid, Dawson Knox, Amari Cooper, and an offensive line that doesn’t allow Josh to get hit a lot, allowing the defense to do okay while in a rebuild.

Jerry Jones has done something that seems impossible, he has separated making money from winning football. Dallas will make over 500 million dollars this year (that's operating income (aka profit), not just gross revenue which is much higher at around 1.2 billion), more than double the second highest money making team in the NFL (Rams) and about 4 times the league median. And it doesn't matter if they win or lose. From a business standpoint THAT is truly impressive.

Joe Burrow and Ja'Marr Chase are making the Bengals into the most entertaining bad team you've ever seen. 6 1 score losses against playoff teams when he played well enough to win all those games. I know he won't win because of record, but I fully believe he deserves MVP because I don't know of anyone who's overcoming more based on how terrible the defense has been. Russel Wilson and the Steelers offense looked like a juggernaut against that defense.

You mischaracterized the Bears clock mismanagement a little bit. Eberflus didn’t call a timeout cause it was 3rd & 26 so if he did they likely would’ve had to rush the kicking unit onto the field. Instead, he wanted to run a play and save the timeout for after, which the Bears successfully did before Caleb Williams decided to just stand in shotgun for 10 seconds while inexplicably not snapping the ball. TL;DR: Eberflus’s decision was actually justifiable, Caleb just messed it up big time.

I really don't know how AR has been better, not gonna lie. Like, I guess he played okay against New England, but that's not a high bar. He's been playing at the same level as he was earlier. Young has absolutely turned it around, but I really don't get that same feeling from AR. Especially when his completion percentage and QBR and passing touchdowns are dead last in the league, plus having more ints than touchdowns. And yeah, I know Bryce's stats are similar, but he's been more accurate, been more consistent, and his team has had major drop issues, and he nearly defeated multiple good teams, not really the case with Richardson who threw a whopping zero touchdowns against Detroit and essentially sat back and watched while they got destroyed.

Oh, no, someone forwarded one single meme that slights a QB? Let me know when they're benched for nothing more. Justin Fields 1) set accuracy _records_ in college & it can be shown with stats that he reads defenses at an elevated level. So the memes say that his receivers carried him (the accuracy measure how _little_ the receivers have to adjust to his throws, not how much) & that he can't read defenses. When the Bears called plays that prevented him from throwing to receivers *everyone **_knew_* this was the case saying "they had to call those plays _for him_ because he can't read defenses." So later everyone just changed the meme to "*"He* holds onto the ball too long." They went from _knowing_ it was play-calling to lying to place all blame on him. & ever Bran here said Russ brought the deep ball back & formed a connection with Pickens. Russ under-threw every single pass for 3 weeks, Fields made what are still the Best Throws of '24 weeks 2 & 3, & again, people *pointed to* the play-calling preventing fields from continuing to do so, *saying* they saw that Smith was forcing Fields to throw only short to mid-range passes outside the numbers. Russ is making new Personal Marks in throwing to the centre. I can't find a single meme about him that resembles the truth & he's riding the bench for them. His own team doesn't seem to realize what Smith did to him, or they're okay with it. Darnold however will be _fine_ no matter what anyone says.
