What's up Bro's? It is part 1 of the reunion, Steel's basement flooded and life is good. It starts out with a Jen Shah question and Heather responds about life after Jen and were the ladies nervous to do it without her. Andy brings up some of the drama surrounding Monica but we don't dive in entirely. Instead the ladies ask how she applied for the show and we get a very interesting response compared to the actual email... Meredith goes on the defense against Angie K. as the Sean rumors are discussed again and Lisa and Whitney have it out. We cover all that and much more so buckle up bros.

Regarding the question at the end Angie said "This is my moment" when Monica was trying to talk over her, and then Monica was trying to be smart and said something like "you finally made it, congratulations" that's when Andy said "well she could say the same to you!" Great recap as always bros, Monica was definitely squirming, she got caught in 2 lies back to back and reverted to old habits. I'm so glad Lisa was vindicated with that extra footage Bravo stuck in there lol.

I know you guys won't agree, but I do think you are a little harsh towards Meredith. So here I go with a paragraph... Jen Shah spread those rumours about Meredith's marriage in Season 1, which Angie K was referring to in this reunion and I do think that was shitty on Angie K's part as Meredith has been open and cried about those struggles (but Angie K thought Meredith was coming for her marriage, so I get it). Then in Season 2, instead of focusing on Jen and her horrible behaviour and arrest, the cast made the latter half of the season about coming for Meredith (and Mary). Jen said Meredith had 10 boyfriends, Lisa said Meredith f*cked half of New York, Whitney got the girls riled up thinking Meredith lied about having a memorial for her father so she could dob Jen in (crazy) etc. So yeah, come Season 3, Meredith dips her toe into the rumour mill about Lisa and said it was "fair game", which I get because the women gave her a rough first two seasons, gossiping and spreading rumours about her. Come Season 4, she tripped up when she was pushed by Angie K who decided to come for her business and call her a "fake bitch", and so she said the husband thing. I think that came out of frustration and alcohol, not purposefully trying to spread anything. Meredith definitely plays semantics and is not perfect, however I think your view of her m.o. is slightly skewed and doesn't take into consideration what came before. I think you guys need to give Meredith a little bit more grace, that's all. But besides that, love the pod and the recaps!

She is pathological in her lies. There have been plenty of fame-chasers and "fans" on the show, but she combines that with zero moral compass or authenticity. Her lies veer from ridiculous to more elaborate planned ones without any authentic emotional connection. She and her mom were duo con artists. It made for an interesting season, but it's definitely a one-off.

Claiming Lisa didn’t show her compassion during her while Whitney was grieving her friends death . Than saying Heather took advantage of her sexuality. Both were made up. Whitney must have been freakin out about lack of stories. She’s making drama up.

Monica is here to stay!!!!! When Jennifer Lawrence mentions RHOSLC at the Golden Globes because of Monica, she is that shows golden apple. Why on earth would they get rid of her... also it just came out that this was the most watch season finale since the season premiere. 2M views in 3 days... she is not going anywhere and she SAVED this show!

i rewatched the lisa vs whitney face off. they didn’t show the footage but in the original episode whitney did say that what she took issue with was lisa not checking in with her first and instead giving gifts of heather, etc. it is different from how the other women approached her. so she isn’t lying, it is just a matter of conflicting views in the moment. That statement can’t actually be quantified though. Because it’s something that didn’t happen you can’t quantify how good or bad something would have been. We will never know what else could have happened with the HW without Monica being involved. All that can actually be quantified is that Monica created a lot of drama.
