Bend, Oregon | 4k Driving Tour | Over One Hour of Driving Sunday Morning

Bend is a small city on the Deschutes River, in Oregon. West are the lakes and peaks of the Cascade Mountains, with ski resorts and multi-use trails. In town, a trail leads up Pilot Butte, an extinct volcano. South, the High Desert Museum showcases the local environment, with history and live wildlife exhibits. In the Newberry National Volcanic Monument, stairs lead into the Lava River Cave, a huge lava tube.

Lived there from 2017-2020. It was a magical place. Yes, it was hard to live there. Not much in terms of good paying local jobs. But the ability to drive 10-15 minutes out of town and visit some amazing outdoor spots was truly awesome. Some days I'd just go driving around looking at all the beautiful evergreens or out east and admire the beauty of the high desert. Redmond wasn't much more than a bedroom community for those who worked in Bend and housing prices raced up there too. Prineville is a small town 45 minutes away from Bend but was too far to commute if you weren't a road warrior. What they need is more higher density housing for the workers. Most people lived paycheck to paycheck as did I. Definitely recommend visiting for a week if you only do it once in your life.

Hmm probably Bend actually haha. Also like lincoln city, neskowin on the coast and west linn and lake oswego since i like looking at nice houses.

I was down there back in early November and there was almost 2 inches of snow. Now nothing. Typical Oregon...wait 15 mins and the weather will change.

He wont go much to the south side just as all the others who record video of bend refuse to do. It's older and not as richy and prideful as the old mill and downtown. Though it's where fred meyers is and mercedes benz is and nike is and multiple others as well. But the south side just doesn't look as richy as the rest of bend. Bend is not what it used to be, Just as the whole world is more and more corrupt in these days. Want to spend $500 on a coat? Then go to the old mill and buy.
