Omg same! I wanted these so badly as a kid and they took FOREVER to ship to where I lived. Once I got them and played with them I realized they were super overhyped in the commercials. To this day I feel bad for making my mom get these for me.

I think I had these at one point and like most people said, no they were not that great but this commercial is SO nostalgic; I must have seen it hundreds of times but not for like at least 13-14 years and I just had that weird "old neurons waking up" feeling through all of this, like I subconsciously remembered every second of it. ~:~

For whatever reason, Bendaroos were the only thing I wanted for my 8th birthday like 16 years ago. They weren’t as good as the commercial 💀 These things did not hold their shape without support from a real item, hair and lint stuck to them, and tbh I think they just ended up getting stomped into the carpet and had to be peeled off rather than me ever making anything cool. The wax also gave me texture issues so it was a lose lose all around 😅
