I been building and designing speakers and I like that idea thanks I want to try one the only thing is you space the tweeters apart like on the kit when they are close together it what they cause lobbing or combing the high frequenies cancel each other out

Interesting project. It would be good if you could go into a bit more detail on how to use the calculator. Its quite confusing to use becuase there seems to be 2 calculators on the same page. Also curius why not use CNC for bow tie and the taper cutting

Well yes but it wouldn't look anything like this. also I would say I have around $300 worth of materials and supplies to make this so I would say it's worth it.

I don't see why not lol check out my "a better kerf bend video" so you can see how to make the kerfs with out the cnc. And as for the rest of the cnc cut parts you can definitely measure and cut the holes and panel with a jigsaw
