They don't usually ask the dependents any questions. When I travel with my kids they just ask me what their ages are and nothing more. If they are old enough to have their own ID then they will just have to present their ID and go through the same process as everyone else.

@@carlosmelendrez1417 I would pack your console in either your carry-on or a backpack but you will need to take it out and place it in a security bin for screening. You can pack it in a checked bag as well but I would avoid doing so to avoid damage or theft.

Thank you for your video. Very informative. I’ve seen other videos where they say. Keep pills in their original prescription bottles and then others say “No”, you don’t have to keep them in their original pill bottles. so I’m confused what to do. I saw comments where some viewers have said they take pictures of their pill bottles to show TSA if questioned, but keep the pills in pill packs. Some say they put them in clear pill bags, and then some say they take their whole prescription bottles with just the pills they need plus a little extra. Seems like there’s a lot of information out there, but it doesn’t seem to agree. 🤷‍♀️

This is the exact wording from the TSA "Medications in pill or other solid forms must undergo security screening. You can facilitate this screening by clearly labeling medication." There is no rule that medication has to be labeled or have to be in it's original container but it could certainly help.

I had a stroke which affected my left side, arm, leg. My question is I use a Leki Super Mini 22" walking cane/stick which collapses to 18.1". Can this pass through security without any problem on my carry on? I also have a Doctors form for handicapped parking in the state that we will be going to, would that possibily help. Great info.

If it doesn't have a sharp end greater than 6cm then you will be allowed to carry it through airport security. You will also want to check the airline policy to make sure it will be allowed on board their aircraft but as long it can fold up you shouldn't have any issues.

I have a question. I’m going on a Valentine’s Day trip and of course I’m wanna be dolled up so I’m bringing beauty stuff. Can I bring my curling irons hair oils and makeup with powder lipsticks deodorant etc in my checked in bag so I can just avoid the whole liquids thing? Or do I have to bring it in my carry on?

Yes, all of the items you mentioned can go in your checked bag so you won't have to worry about liquid quantities. However, if your curling irons are cordless and contain batteries, then they need to go in your carry-on bag.

Yes, you can bring salt, spices and Jaggery powder. You can pack them in either your carry-on or checked bag however, if you are going to be taking more than 12oz of Jaggery powder then pack it in your checked bag to avoid any issues going through security.

Hi there nice video and info. Can i carry 2 large blankets in a check-in bag for international travel from the USA to India with baggage weight allowance. Also, can i put gifts box(fragrance mist & perfumes) as it is or do i need to open it all and then pack in check in bags. Its not gift wraped it is in orignal packaging. Thnk you

Yes, no problem to pack blankets in your checked bag to India. The fragrances and perfumes can be kept in gift boxes in your checked luggage. No need to open them.

@@priyankashah2647 There is no limit. I usually carry 3 or 4 myself when I travel. You won't need to take them out of your bag for TSA screening.

Yes, you can carry it through security. If it has any sharp edges then I would pack in a checked bag, otherwise you are fine to place in a carry-on or personal item bag. However, because it is made of metal it will most likely get flagged for additional screening so just keep in a place that is easy to get to.

Yes, you can carry colognes in their original bottles as long as they are in 3.4oz bottles or less and they are stored in a clear quart sized bag.

Hello! Does a microphone like yours go into a carry-on or personal item? Does it need to get taken out along with the laptop? I have space for it in the carry-on, but I'd hate it if they made me take it out. I have space for it in the backpack as well. It would just be easier if i didn't have to carry it on my back. I have traveled with my microphone before and had no issues packing it in my carry-on. You shouldn't have to take it out when going through security unless you are carrying a wireless mic containing batteries, in which case you may be asked to remove it and place it in a bin.

Yes, you will need to get your parents consent letters notarized. You will also need to check the requirements for the airline you will be flying on. Depending on your age you may need to fly as an unaccompanied minor. Once you arrive in London you will need to provide details about where you are staying and that you have funds to support yourself while in London.

Hello again, I have another question! I will be traveling from PEK to CVG with ANA, with layovers at HND and IAD. When I arrive in Washington DC from Tokyo, will I need to check in my luggage again? Can you go through the overall process, as I am not very familiar with this. I am a 16 year old about to travel soon and I want to make sure that I understand the procedures before my traveling begins. Also, I have a big feeling that I will miss my flight from IAD to CVG, as I only have around a 2 hour layover. In this case, can I get my flight rebooked for free or will I have to pay for the new flight? Thank you so much!

Once you arrive in IAD you will have to collect your luggage and then go through customs and immigration. Once you are through customs and immigration there will be a drop off area for your luggage and then you will be able to proceed to your next flight. 2 hours should be enough time to go through that process and make your flight but if you should miss your flight to CVG then the airline will rebook you free of charge unless you booked the flight separately.

If you are checking a bag then definitely get there at least 2 hours early. If you want to give yourself more time then make it 2 1/2 hours but I don't think you will need to arrive any earlier than that.

Hello Ben, I traveled with ANA (All Nippon Airways) from CVG to PEK on June 26th. Once I arrived home and left the airport, I found my luggage to be damaged (one of the corners had a big dent). I completed the forms and submitted all of the proper documentation. However, the ANA office located in Beijing told me that they can only give me RMB 100 (around $14) as compensation. I tried asking for more but they refused to give it to me. They said the only two options I have was the RMB 100 compensation or they could give me a new luggage at the airport when I leave Beijing and check in. I am very unhappy with this and would like your input. What can I do and what are my rights as a traveler when dealing with a damaged luggage? It really depends on the airline and their policies and I am not too familiar with ANA but most of the time the airline will require you to report the damage in person before you leave the airport in order to get a proper compensation. Unfortunately, since you didn't notice the damage until you arrived home I don't think there is much more you can do to get a proper compensation from the airline. The other thing you can do is to check your credit card that you used to pay for the flight and see if it includes travel insurance which can reimburse you for damaged luggage. Also, you can try the manufacturer of your luggage and see if they have a warranty or a lifetime warranty that you can use to replace your luggage.

You are only allowed to bring 1 bag per person no matter what. If you have more, they will confiscate it. If you need to bring more, you can put it in a checked bag.

@@hxdz7712 You won't be able to take 2 carry-ons but you can take 1 carry-on and a smaller personal item bag like a backpack on the plane with you. Southwest allows 2 free checked luggage so if you have to check one of your bags you can do so without a charge.
