Also it’s just.. nice considering who they used to be while working. The “rivalry” they had was one-sided. Always was. Susie was jealous and filled with rage, Allison was only doing her job as she was hired. She might have admired who came before her for doing the job. She stole nothing from Susie, that was whoever made the decision to fire her in the first place. So to see that scene is lovely. But it’s also bittersweet. Being told the truth with no way to explain yourself after all that time? Shame.

For all of those questioning why Sammy died so quickly in the scene, It's because Audrey had to restart the cycle. So some of them had to die before that happened. For example when Alice Angel dies at the hands of Allison as in the previous game. Just as Sammy must have died too before Henry restarted the cycle. Those little details of murder were necessary before putting The End on the projector that Henry finds. My final conclusion is that Sammy HAD to die to establish the Cycle.

I have a theory, the meatly said the dark revival wasn't a sequel nor a prequel I think it's a soft reboot of the Ink world where none of the ink characters remember what happened in the original ink world created by Joey Drew.
