They both are basically the same bendys, but we havent seen yet a bendy cartoon with a plot in which we can see his mischievous personality (except for tombstone picnic and haunted hijinx). And for the guy who asked about ink bendy, the reason for him not appearing is obvious. But however, there was concept art for an episode with him. It was about bendy entering a room and being shocked after founding the boris corpse from chapter one. Then Ink Bendy appears behind Bendy, who looks back to greet him with a nervous smile before being grabbed into the darkness by the ink demon

I can extract lore from this. So... this cartoon was supposedly created after henry left the studio in 1930. If the period of time between henry leaving and returning is 30 years, then the ink machine was probably created several years after he left, to help boost finances for the studio. Even henry says that it took a lot of people to replace him. Wally franks said that the animations weren't meeting the deadlines. Once allison pendle replaced susie, susie was angered and did anything to regain her position as a voice actress. That being said, susie probably got replaced a few months before the ink machine was completed. Once ink bendy was created, joey realized that the creations needed a soul. Then, joey asked susie if she wanted to participate in a project that would essentially bring characters to life. The first time they used the machine, susie got turned into a searcher, but the next time, it turned her into an imperfect version of alice, possibly because her soul was filled with hate and anger. Joey realized that he needed a different "participant," and started turning the employees into searchers. When henry returns 30 years later, he activates the machine, which possibly releases bendy from the depths of the studio. (Sammy might be a failed version of boris, but that's just a theory, a GAAAAAME theory.)

does anyone find it strange that they are dating the cartoons? I mean I know the cartoons were made before but they are now being uploaded with years - like it means something. I don't know. maybe it's just the paranoid theorist in me trying to find meaning in everything but I just find it strange because the channel is becoming more active and giving years to its cartoons which it has not done before, at least not as far as to put it in the title

maybe it's to indicate a timeline, because new charcaters and elements were introduced gradually throughout the years of JDS. When did it actually go bankrupt? We don't know. What was the final cartoon? No idea. But this might serve to add lore the game didn't. idk tho

As a student animator I can say that I believe it’s dated to show what type of cartoons and the pace JDS was going with the cartoons before it went outta business. Most animation companies work in 3s and 2s but because this was back in the day before computers they all drew in 1s and THATS a lot of work. Disney animates their shorts and movies in 2s to make their animations smoother and nicer to look at. If it was on 3s it would be a bit more choppier. Plus this was back when the Great Depression hit so I assume the pay and company budget was shit. This is the reason why most of their short are either under and minute or a little bit over a minute: because the budget only has enough money for it, Joey was overworking everyone, and they hand drew EVERYTHING like Disney studios dot back in the day. I mean think about it. Back then Disney’s first feature length film was Snow White and that required over 200k drawings, plus those 200k+ had to get painted by the women who worked there. And most companies work with 24 frames per second. So a minute of ol timey animation was about 1440 frames. THATS A LOT.

@@sadaritaylor3568 so do you know this was made in 2019 and Joey drew isn't real right?.it's just made to look like an classic cartoon and because it's animated by 2 guys they are very short.it's dated because of ingame lore , to explain that after Henry left every short ended with bendy being sad and everything going horribly for him , that being a motivation for him.it's an universe with specific lore .
