Bendy has insane strength,durability and is bloodthirsty. Sans at least had the common sense to not attack so much as to not overheat his Nightmare form and exausted Bendy's. Also they fought inside the Sun that's amazing (and Nightmare Sans can use Undyne and Asriel's attacks somehow...?). Legends say Sans is still sleeping in space. I sure hope monsters aren't being killed by a genocidal child during that time!

this is how nightmare form work -First, they drastically increase health, speed, attack, and defense -Second, they allow the person to use any attacks from the game they are from -Third, they normally cause the person to be driven mostly by hatred and the desire to kill, which would explain why Sans is the only one of the three that has conscious control over the form -Fourth, if the person takes too much damage and/or uses too much power, the form would dissipate, returning them to how they were before (which is why Sans wouldn't want to have this happen, due to him being almost dead when he got the form.) This would also explain why Bendy ended up losing his form, due to trying to use all the power he can to kill Sans, not realizing he would run out of power in the process

Definitely not the case here. Sans was simply smarter and had more battle experience thanks to fighting Frisk/Chara so many times and being able to remember it. Bendy did indeed have more raw power, but it wasn't enough for someone who rivals you in raw power but beats you in battle experience and intelligence. So I most DEFINITELY understand how Sans won. Not plot armor at all, just sound like a hater lol. Even Sans knew that if he didn't come up with a strategy, he would lose. Goes to show that brains beat brawn 99% of the time.

know I’m 1 year late… BUT…the animation is so god dam good… Also why I do think Sans did win I also will say Bendy wins…my reason being while the two didn’t get killed they still got what they wanted (Bendy got his Last Reel (Reel)and be alive…and Sans can sleep and be alive (lol)…so in it really was a tie…BUT…Sans definitely won by a hair so basically Sans is 51% and Bendy is 49%…Sans kept his Nightmare Mode and Bendy didn’t so that’s why I gave Sans the 51% instead of the 49% that Bendy has…also no I’m not a Fanboy of Sans or Bendy I’m just a fan of them…a plain ol simple fan!
