I have to believe that the wedding had to be a real deal breaker for a couple who lived together for so long & had 2 kids. She finally had her real wedding with John. Bet many discussions came up. What a bum. Live with someone for that long, 2 kids & you can't commit to put a ring on it. Ben did get engaged just after the filming. It had to sting for Amanda. Why can't you be like that John? Oh come on guys... he obviously said that there were to monkeys sitting on the ledge of a roof and right before one of the monkeys jumped the other monkey grabbed him and used the force of him falling off the roof to throw him back unto the roof. The monkey that just got saved tried grabbing the falling monkeys head but instead grabbed the cabbage that was inconveniently placed right next to his head. Then there was a helicopter at the very bottom that swooped in and saved him but the other monkey thought he was dead so he went home and drowned his sorrows with a cup of warm chamomile tea to calm his nerves but as soon as he was about to jump out the window and take his sorrows with him the long lost monkey walked through the door and they lived happily ever after!

I want this as well, but I think after someone plays such an iconic role, they couldn't be taken seriously playing the role of Khan in star trek, or things of the like. I had trouble with Tennant in Broadchurch, that may just be me. Moreover, Mr. Cumberbatch starring in my two favorite TV shows would likely lead to an unhealthy obsession.

My theory: They had Sherlock fall and had a stunt dummy replace him for his mere 'fall' , then the helicopter caught it on camera and they had a mattress waiting for the stunt double, and once they caught enough footage of him falling, they removed the mattress and Sherlock layed down on the floor and they continue filming. Also for cabbage, no fucking idea, and the cup of tea probably their house keeper.
