He's right if sherlock continues on the path it's taking, i believe it will be as great as Doctor who; i don't believe it will better it because Doctor who has history and brilliance with huge plot and story line nothing will ever be better, but sherlock is getting to that point of greatness and thats completely amazing

I would rather see Benedict join Doctor Who as the new Master, rather than the Doctor. It shoots 10-11 months for each 13-episode run, so there's no way he would commit to that role, given how in demand he has become. But as in a guest role, like the Master, I can definitely see that as possible.
