When I went to see Spider-man: No way home.... I went because a friend really wanted to see it and couldn't talk anyone else into going with her. I'm not really all that into the super hero stuff, but with Cumberbatch as Doctor Strange, I have accepted that character as an exception to that rule. While I may not care much about the other characters in the Marvel or DC universes, I will always enjoy watching this man work. 😆

I just smile at them to sort of acknowledge that i see them and like them and their movies lol. I dont like when people bombard them with 100 questions and autographs/pictures etc! It must be so annoying to them because literally hundreds of thousands of people do this to them every single time they go anywhere! 365 days a year! Could you imagine that? How horrible that would be? And being told by complete strangers how much they love you and them quoting your most famous movie lines over and over again to your face!?!? ? That would be a nightmare after a while! Im sure at first they like the attention but after several years or maybe just several weeks of that must be like torture. I agee though that if you really are a true fan then just smile at them or wave. Its simple and non intrusive. Also helps keep a mob from forming around them too. Because once 1 person sees a celeb and starting talking to them. More people notice and start swarming them. So several times ive seen celebs and no one noticed them yet and ill just Smile at them and leave them alone so i dont attract a crazy mob of fans. Now if they're at like comic con or something then yeah why not try to ask them a few questions or something. But if they're eating somewhere or at a gas station just leave them be.

I'd likely be one of the "Hello" people if I got a chance, but I can't imagine just going up to someone on the street and begging for a photo/autograph/chat. Especially not a celebrity who's just trying to go about their day and must have heard the exact same line a couple dozen times already since they got up. Like it's a one-time thing for you, but it's every day for them and may be exciting and flattering at first, but must get really irritating after a while. If for some incomprehensible reason a celebrity I admire were to approach me and start up a conversation themselves, then I could maybe see myself at the end quietly and very politely asking for an autograph if it felt appropriate (really not a selfie person myself), and of course if they're at a convention or something as part of their job that's different, but otherwise ... If you actually respect the person and care about their feelings, please just leave them alone. It's not all about you.

I have a problem that I usually give inopportune thumbs up in certain situations, so if I ever met/saw a celebrity, I would probably just awkwardly give them a thumbs up from a distance, if they were not preoccupied with anything else.
