I've listened to these guys since 1999 when my friend in high school brought me the Grind Bastard album to play on my Discman on the school bus.. ahh the good ol' days. Been a fan ever since, and can honestly say Neil Fucking Hutton is without a doubt one of the most underrated drummers in all of metal in my mind. His work with Benediction and Stampin Ground has been absolutely brilliant. It's a shame more people don't know who he is.

I cut both my knees at a charity event held by these at scruffy murphys Birmingham in a pit, went over, their was glass everywhere, but like a true mosher I got bandaged up by mick the doorman and got back in it \m/ Had too go to hospital the next day as I couldn't walk and blood was pissing out my leg, 20 stitches later in both knees and a slight operation to the lasseration on the left, I still pit!!!, Totally worth watching again

I love this band, but I only own "Subconscious terror", "The Grand leveller" and "Dark is the season". I listened to (and really like) "Transcend the rubicon", only heard one song off "The dreams you dread". Unfortunately there's only one song I know on this concert, and nothing off my favorite one, "The Grand leveller" (a real milestone!). But I would have liked them anyway if I was there, because their songs are all in the same old school death metal style.

hehehee it is very awkward! It s a left-handed bass with upside down strings. Usually, left handed bassist uses right-handed bass and just play it as a left handed, so the strings are upside down. XD

Yes, but here the thickest string is on the bottom and so on. I've searched for some info, some forums mention this technique (mostly for fingerpicking), but I don't really know, what is this for. I think Frank plays like this for some time, see "Down on whores" video from 1995.

Well, I have seen left handed bassists playing right handed basses, so they only turn upside down the bass and play it left handed (so the thickest string is at the bottom and so on). This is (or was) common when they got a common bass borrowed by a right handed bassist, so it was kinda of a nuisance to have to change the order of the strings every time and just played the right handed bass as a left handed. Check Bloodbath - Live carnage video, Dan Swano plays the guitar the same way than Frank!

Maybe he's got so used to play with right handed basses from the begining of his carreer just for the lack of options (and maybe cash...) that he has kept the same setting through the time even though now he seems to prefer playing with regular left handed bass.
