Benefits and drawback of NCAA vs. OHL | How hockey players can choose

Do you find that the facilities in the CHL are starting to fall behind the NCAA programs. Example is I just saw the North Dakota rink on bardown, comparing that to many rinks in the CHL is tough. I also wonder how sustainable it is for the WHL to now have 6 US teams. Seems a lack of investment into western communities. I know the population centres are bigger but seems like there is a shift towards more US based leagues and ncaa programs.
