Benefits and Testing of Advanced Rider Assistance Systems

While the number of fatal car accidents decreased decisively in recent years the number of fatal motorcycle is still almost the same. The film gives an overview of these figures and introduces modern electronically controlled safety systems such as ABS and traction control for motorcycles that have the potential to reduce the serious consequences of accidents.
To ensure, that the driver can rely on the correct functioning of these safety systems at any time, they are tested in the modern PTI. The Fahrzeugsystemdaten (FSD) GmbH, headquartered in Dresden, Germany is a joint company of the vehicle testing organisations in Germany and provides guidelines for the modern PTI, particularly for testing electronically controlled safety systems.
