I was caring for both my husband and child (40 years and 50+ and still). But could only claim for one. I've saved the country thousands.

Me too I am now 76 years and Husband is now dead still looking after my Daughter who is nearly 49 years 24/7 and get nothing as I get a state Pension

5 years ago I put in for carers allowance for my husband who had brain tumour was told by helpline that could not get it as we were married we got nothing I was getting my state pension at the time my husband is dead now
