@@kinetickame1203 The fight between them was suppose to happen in February and it was a title eleminator but Beneil was the one who backed out due to a injury and was estimated to be out for half a year, Oliveira beat the rest of the top 5 leaving only Makhachev as the next opponent to face, this has nothing to do with Khabib if it was he would be ahead of Gaethje after beating Hooker. Beneil himself knows Makhachev deserved his title shot as he stated in his previous interviews that he couldn't recover fully until August and was looking for opponents namely Porier, he also remained inactive since May 2021 while Makhachev in that span of time beat four opponents. The fight taking place in Abu Dhabi is a pure coincidence as it was announce way back in February, Oliveira fought April against Gaethje and had 6 months of preperation to reclaim the lw title, he wanted the fight to happen in Brazil which would take 9 fricking months which was out of question for Dana as Abu Dhabi brings much more profit for UFC and it would take place at a perfect time for both fighters taking a summer break and then start the training camp late July until October which is 9-10 weeks.

The first time I ever saw Beneil fight was when I was first kind of getting into MMA and he submitted Drew Dober. I remember being really impressed by the fight and his post-fight interview and I haven't missed one of his fights since then and it just so happened to coincide with this massive win streak he's having. Charles will always be the hardest guy for Islam --- even when Charles doesn't have a realistic game plan other than BS like "I'm gonna KO him first round" or "I'm so good in BJJ, I'll go on my back voluntarily" ---- but, yes, after the former champ, Benny is the next toughest, skill wise. But due to Benny's being able to stay disciplined against tough/skilled opponents, I think over-all his chances are a bit better than Charles, at least for a decision win (where neither man is able to do a sudden fight ending KO or sub). If Charles would get a coach who actually could devise him a realistic game plan, one he agrees to stick with.... and if he'd just cut his aggressive and reckless approach roughly 90%, it would be so difficult for anyone, including Islam, to overwhelm Charles... on the feet or on the mat... Now Charles understands what a lot of us were saying, with Islam, before the mat: if you get knocked down by a striker, no problem, if youlre Charles. But if you get knocked down BY ISLAM, even if you're Charles, your chances of surviving on the mat is next to zero... That means Charles WILL have to FUNDAMENTALLY change his approach, when/if he fights Islam again. He's long and rangy; he NEEDS to use all those assets of his. Running at Islam --- a Division I like wrestler, with elite Muay Thai, elite Judo, and elite BJJ who also is masterful AND an exceptionally hard to hit counter puncher ---- is probably the dumbest thing anyone could do.

@@danielradd111 the P4P really was never a big deal in my eyes, sure it’s some what of a symbolism of great accolades but it doesn’t transcend to beating everyone in all weight divisions. I bet a decent amount of people didn’t know Volkanovski had it until they shined it for their potential fight or even knew Kamaru had it before him for a little, and when it comes to a person who was dominate in his weight class SKIPS over other people in a bigger weight class to fight the other champ is always off putting to me, sure it’s exciting but I know for a fact That Alex can’t beat everyone in the lightweight division (as scary stacked as it is) let alone someone like Islam. Look at Conor, he beat Alvarez when he went up a weight but that doesn’t mean he can beat khabib or Dustin. Holloway was so dominant as well when he went after the LW belt from the feather weight belt but you can tell he wasn’t use to interacting to a bigger force of power. Like I said I want the ones who proved their way to the top to take it once in a while
