Hi Todd, I like the idea of your mid-week education videos. As for this one, I’m one of those H2O guys that took your advice and bought the Titanium 7 round tubes and then had it Cerakoted. It’s a great match and it cost me $90. Worth the money. Thanks

Love that you shared this. To get the weight reduction along with the color match is truly the way to go, if you have the coin to make it happen. $90 is a no-brainer. $200 to $300 would take some consideration.

Jim, I did the same as you, I got the Titanium 7 tube for my M4 H2O. Didn't realize the color would be so different. I plan to have the tube Cerakoted, like you did. Do you happen to remember what Cerakote color you used? There are so many that look similar. Many thanks!

When i hear titanium i think of coatings, not a gun made out of titanium. In the CNC community the inserts on lathe tools used to cut steel are coated in a titanium carbon nitrate to increase tool life, it would be interesting if Benelli experimented with these coatings for the interal parts of the M4.

Absolute cerakote matching would be to fully - fully - disassemble the weapon and have it all redone in the Cerakote Ti code all at once. There's a seller on Gunbroker who does this similar, but his shotguns are in the 5-6k range

Even then, because of the dimension that Cerakote adds, there are a lot of parts that wouldn't be getting a coating. The best route is no longer available - NP3 a black gun to the full extent. But since that's not an option, I think using NP3 parts on the Cerakote gun is not a bad way to go - just not as favorable...

@@FreedomFighterTactical yeah a full NP3 process and dip was also very pricey... the coating was fairly inexpensive, but getting the metal ready was much more expensive than expected due to labor involved. Pretty much my upgrade path to NP3 has been in the functional dept alone, trigger internals, the Argo system, bolt & carrier. I've added a few of the unique offerings you've had and been very happy with them - just waiting for a few parts to return from Wright/CT to reassemble

@ FreedomFighterTactical: I was borderline on buying BOTH. I have found that their "7+1 advertised" weapons, ONLY hold 6 (2.5") shells IN the "Tube". I dont know if this INCLUDES being "Ghost Loaded"? Or if I'm missing something. I just had an 11796 shotgun arrive at my FFL with a bad spot on top of the barrel. Looked like sharpie or just a Q.C. misstep? I'm hearing about a LOT more of this lately. - Interested in finding out how BENELLI's Customer Service handles THIS! Love the website! (As does my C.Card company!) Keep up the stellar work Mr.Todd!! 👌🏼

I'm looking at a 11796 h20 model with night sights, collapsible skeletonized stock, and the 7 round extended mag tube. It's a titanium cerakote like you mentioned in this video. Was the np3 a better finish for the h20 model, or did they upgrade it to the titanium cerakote? Which holds up better the np3 or the titanium cerakote, and can you get an np3 still, or is the titanium cerakote the only option now? I'm wondering which is the better finish and which would do better at corrosion and rust prevention or if there's a difference? Is or was one a shinier finish than the other? I apologize if this is a lot at once, but these are questions I've been trying to find answers to for a while. There seems to be a lot of different opinions on this and confusion as to what the h20 is. I'd like to finally get to the bottom of it and finally know what this back and forth stuff is with the np3 finish and the titanium cerakote finish and what's what. This benelli m4 has become a model and niche of its own with so many modifications, models, and accessories for it. They started development of it in 1998 but it with all the stuff with it youd almost think it was like the 100 plus year old 1911 design and platform. The benelli M4 is like a legend in its own right.

I can’t find the answer anywhere: Todd can you tell me if the threads the magazine tube goes into are steel or aluminum? On the receiver itself I just see internet posts that there is “a little aluminum” used in the receiver

The irony of somebody having enough money to but a shotgun like this but being so stupid they can’t tell what color they need is just killing me. Lol. I can’t ridicule anybody but gee whiz. I bought the titanium one and it’s perfect for my H2O. Takes awhile to loosen up to fit 7 rounds in but other than that it’s perfect. Great products from FFT cannot recommend them enough.

@@FreedomFighterTactical I agree with your product!!! It is an awesome fit and finish. I just ordered the Cerakote "Titinium" because I found out they didn't make the NP3 anymore. The tube is still sitting by my desk though... never even had a shell in it.. I guess I could use it for spit wads (j/k).. I ended up ordering your NP3 coated version.. that's why I agree with your logic in the video. Thank you.
